This is probably one of my go to spots for fast Mexican food. They have the best carne asada I've had in that regard, and it definitely beats any of the -berto's. Their food is always fresh & comes out quick. The service is pretty minimal, but you don't really need to interact with the employees much. There's also a ton of space if you want to sit away from other people. I eat here pretty frequently, and every time I see new deals or combos that I'm shocked at the price point in a good way. Definitely worth trying if you've not been. Oh! And they're 24 hours, so if you need late night food; this is the spot.

I had food delivered to the Marriott where I was staying. The hotel's restaurant closes at 10pm and I had not eaten. Amado's is open 24 hours. The delivery was fairly fast. I got the super nachos and they were really good. I loved the sauce. It was a lot of food. Enough to share.

If you haven't been you haven't lived. Get one of everything.Tuesdays tacos are simple yet delicious. Every taco on the menu is generously portioned, full of goodness. You might hate yourself if you skip the adobada or carnitas.. The breakfast burrito is always a win. Top off whatever you're getting with a large horchata (best in the East Valley) and you'll be hooked for life!

I don't expect much when I go to Amado's- cheap, fast, Mexican food! If I'm at Amado's it's because most everything else is closed and I need a taco fix! If you have these expectations you'll like Amado's. The fish tacos are on the pricier side- $3.20/each! But again, at 10pm there were limited options. They are on the bigger size. They were decent. There was a burnt little fish nugget in mine. Bf got 2 beef tacos for $1.50 ($1.55? Can't remember) each on Taco Tuesday. A pretty good deal if you ask me! It was a pretty standard taco, not mind blowing but also not terrible. We asked for red salsa and received 2. 2 red salsas for 4 tacos *insert face palm emoji* The red salsa was weak- not spicy at all. Our total for 2 fish tacos and 2 beef tacos was $10. Again, not great but again, 10pm on a Tuesday evening. I did notice they still have the sign on their drive thru window about the beef shortage and needing to raise prices for beef tacos. The sign has been on there since the start of COVID. 2.5 stars.

We go there at least twice a week. However this time I was charged $1.00 per taco for extra lettuce. One head of ice burg lettuce cost .99 cents. Not only did the clerk not tell me it was an up -charge but I ended up throwing out most the wilted warm lettuce cost $2.00 (more then half the taco)I don't beleive I've ever been charged for extra Carnesh in a seat down restaurant. Very disappointed!! Not sure if I'll go back. You should be told upfront if you want a tablespoon on extra lettuce it will cost you a dollar ... no more a regular customer.
