Aloha Tea & Coffee

I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. The cashier didn't rush me to order, I was given time to look over the menu before ordering. The checkout process was quick fast and efficient. The vibe was greeting and it felt like a place where you could get coffee and chitchat with friends. My order was ready fairly quickly. It's a family friendly experience.

I drove 20 minutes out of my way for this place. When I arrived I was the only customer. I was ordering multiple drinks. I didn't notice, but while I was ordering the second employee had started making my first drink.I'm used to going over the modifications and checking that everything is right before my drink is made. I had noted for my first drink I wanted to reduce sweetness and add an extra topping. The gentleman at cash told me he can't modify the first drink because it was being already made. I looked over and saw the other employee sealing the drink. I politely asked if they could remake the drink, he refused. I then indicated he left me no choice but to cancel the order. There was no effort by either employee to fix the situation, and so I left. I have zero interest in returning or giving them a second chance. First impressions are lasting impressions.

Was in Glendale wanted to try this boba place. They sell some Vietnamese snack,appetizer and drink. I didn't think the brown sugar milk tea looks good and the taste of it is a little off, taro smoothie was good because it has a flavor. Customer service was awesome nice and friendly and I had ask them what they would recommend getting, recommendation is good too. The place feel really relaxing and it's a clean place. Everyone has its own opinion just try it.

I haven't tried any milk teas from Aloha yet, so I ordered the Strawberry Milk Tea w/ grass jelly! Comparing this to another boba place, it's not overly sweet, which I appreciate. Although, I wish the drink had a stronger and more natural strawberry flavor to it, rather than it tasting like sugared milk (good amount, compared to another place I mentioned), with a hint of strawberry. There are definitely better tea options for next time. Other than that, I give this drink a 6.5/10! Peep the cup's adorable seal. It's literally pink and Baymax from Big Hero 6!!!

Tea was meh/diluted flavors, drink flavors were mainly dependent on sweetener. Service was okay too, we had 5 separate orders and two had issues. Ambience was a boba place with connect 4 and chess - could be improved. Got the matcha milk tea with uji matcha upgrade, lowest sweetness and less ice, used the Yelp check in for free boba- seems like the computerized ordering system doesn't have a way to indicate "free topping" so it was ordered without boba but the front guy forgot to tell that there's a free add in boba so I initially received it without boba and it had to be remade- tastes like water with a hint of matcha. Usually less/least sweet at least has a strong tea flavor while reducing the sweetness, but seems like reducing the sweetness reduced the matcha and tea flavors Aloha milk tea+ they were giving free samples of #1 and #2, appreciate the business mindset - but these were at sweetness and too sweet- we did also lower/lowest sweetness, hard to taste the tea flavor at all (again, less sweet isn't supposed to mean less tea)Someone else got the honeydew smoothie with less sweetness- artificial flavors that tastes like the melona bar - maybe my expectation is too high for natural fruit flavors+/- boba was okay flavors but pretty hard inside Inside decor -investment in a couple newer 2-4 player card or board games (ex: exploding kittens, codenames, etc) could really add to the things to do

This isn't the best milk tea I've tried. This shop is located in a plaza on Glendale Avenue, and they offer a variety of drinks, such as milk tea and coffee. The interior has plenty of space and seating, and the staff is quite nice + helpful! I ordered the aloha milk tea with boba with less sweetness. When I got my order, I was quite disappointed. The boba was soft and chewy, which I liked, but the milk tea was really sweet and tasted rather artificial, like it was made from a pre-made powder -- I'm not talking about powdered milk, but rather the pre-made milk tea mixes where you just add water. I generally expect shops to brew their own drinks, and I usually find that it's a cop-out when they do this. I also did not like the large amount of ice in my drink and the fact that I could not adjust it. I might come back to try the Vietnamese coffee, but I would generally stay away from the milk teas.

Came yesterday to buy boba for the shop of 9 drinks! Everyone loved it. I don't live close else it would be a weekly thing for my shop. The quality of their exotic teas or brown sugar boba is top notch. Would definitely recommend it and come by again when I m around Glendale! You rock Aloha

Was looking for some boba and ended up at Aloha Tea & Coffee. They have a fun little vending machine that my cousins got addicted to while we waited for our drinks. They have games and the tables + decorations are cool. The service was great, the person at register was patient while we ordered! The boba is sooooo yummy! I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with a matcha shot and the boba sold me. It was the perfect amount of sweet and chewy-ness and I could tell it was not overly rested. I'm not from the area but if they have a San Diego location, i'd definitely come back and try for more!

Can never go wrong with this place. The taro, aloha black tea, and crème brûlée milk teas have been great options. I stopped going to other shops as they're just not as good. Drinks take a while to prepare but it is worth it. The boba itself is great and I've seen it be boiled often so it seems fresh, perfect consistency and texture. I appreciate that they carry a lot of options you don't see in the other shops popping up in Arizona, like cheese foam and purple rice as topping.
