I didn't know this place existed until my friend had a baby shower and told me to pick up a couple platers of ube desserts from them!I basically tried everything on the menu and it was soooo good. My favorite was Ube coffee This place isn't for you to hang out and stand around. Just order and go!Service is great and fast!

I love Ube so decided to pop in to try their desserts. I did not realize that it was more of a grab and go spot than sit down spot.Iced coffee with Ube cold foam - I thought it was coffee with Ube cold foam but the coffee base is actually Vietnamese coffee. It's a little on the sweet side but I really liked how I could taste the Ube.Ube tres leche - super super sweet. The cake was spongey and moist. The ube cream on top was very good. It was just too sweet so I couldn't eat more than a few bites.

Ube crinkle was huge! Tasty as well -- not pictured because my son claimed it. I was super bummed about the Ube tres leches cake and I really wanted to like it, but it seemed dry.. except for the bottom where there was a little bit of the "tres leches." Didn't taste much like ube, maybe it was just a bad batch? Idk, I guess I was just expecting there to be more of the milks.

I normally love all the items they create and wanted to try the Tres leches. It was so dry and more of a cake than actual Tres leches. The texture seemed like all the leches was missing.

I heard about them when I moved to San Diego, they had quite the range of Ube desserts - tarts, brownies, drinks, etc. I finally had the chance to check them out. Here was my experienceAMBIANCE:Parking: There's a small parking plaza for about 20 cars. I didn't have any issues here when I went in the evening.Seating: This is, moreover an order and go type of spot.Vibes: It's in an industrial area with companies, storages, and breweries - coffee and beer. It's cool to see the various companies all in one spot. The spot itself is relatively simple; you enter the room and you're welcomed with a warm greeting. Check out the menu on the screen or see their desserts on the counter, order and enjoy!FOOD:Ube Mochi (Recommend)I've heard of ube brownies but making this mochi is quite the treat. The softness of the mochi is not too sticky. The lite vanilla/nutty ube flavors mixed around make it comforting. With a touch of burnt coconut shavings give it a nice touch.Ube Tarts (Recommend)The bit size are a great size! A nice soft and cold texture pudding to the ube with a sugar cookie-like crust holding it all together helps balance the sweetness to the ube.CUSTOMER SERVICE:Daphne and Dennis are awesome! Passionate about their work and friendly people.TL; DR OVERALL:5 stars. Awesome! Delicious sweets, great variety, and good prices. I'm thoroughly impressed by their sweets and the creativity they've infused ube in from mochi to caffeinated beverages. I'm glad they have a brick-and-mortar now! I wish Daphne, Dennis and the rest of the team all the best. I look forward coming back! #FilipinoFoodMovementTIPS:* Follow them on social media for new goods or local pop-ups!

We've had these desserts from the stand but wanted to check out the store front and was finally able to visit. It's not in the main parking lot as you turn into the driveway, sitting all by itself on the east side of the building, definitely woulda missed it if we didn't drive all the way around the building looking for it. This ended up being just a grab and go spot.Flan cake and cheesecake was definitely a hit. The crinkle and brownie was super hard when we bought it from the stand, we thought it was just because it was sitting outside but it was the same here. Maybe that could be an option..if you're eating right away ..to get it warmed up? We just did it when we got home.

Small business Big Flavors! When you walk in, it's a simple display of Ube desserts and drinks. Of course everything is in purple but to the point. Everything from cookies to Tres Leches and Ube Lattes and Iced Coffees has Ube! If you're in the Mira Mesa area and looking for a sweet treat, definitely stop by! The location is a bit hidden - you need to go around the building to find it. The address takes you to a brewery in the front but go behind the building.

Went to a coffee shop and found this place by accident. For some reason decided to try the Ube Tres Leches even though I don't like Tres Leches. Gave it a try and I was extremely disappointed. Disappointed I only bought one! Yeah, I should've bought at least three. It was really good and a pleasant surprise. Haven't eaten something this unique and tasty for a while. Great job!

This place is hard to find - if you're familiar with where Jaunt Coffee is, it's in the same plaza, you just have to drive around the right side of the building. There aren't really designated parking spots, but this is the only place really on that side so make your own spot. The shop is pretty small with no seating. There's a small display case with the various desserts and a menu for the drinks. We got a few each of the mochi cake, brownie, and crumble cookie. 5 items came out to $27.The brownie was pretty dry, which was disappointing. The mochi cake and cookie were amazing and moist. The cookie was not as ube strong but still very tasty. We ate some leftovers 2 days later, these treats held up great. We love supporting mom and pop shops like this but it did feel pretty pricy. If we come back, it'll be for a special occasion.

Tried ATUD on a Friday. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and attentive. We had the crinkle cookie and Ube cheesecake. Both were delicious. The cookie wasn't hard like I read in another post. It's a tiny place, on the backside of the main stores (like Jaunt Coffee). My only critique would be that they don't have alternative milks for their lattes so we weren't able to try them. Hope they do well and prosper!
