Food was pretty good and stayed fresh upon delivery. Would recommend if you're looking for something fair priced.

For a local late night spot, this is exactly what you want. They're a rare 24/7 spot in North Seattle that offers generous portions at low cost. Over the years, I've had pretty much everything - the quesadillas are massive, the tacos are FILLED, the monster burrito is packed, and torta was bigger than expected. The Jamaica was perfectly tart while sweet. The flan was clearly homemade and the texture was firm and custard-y as you'd hope. The only minus was the rolled tacos, which tasted simultaneously stale and soggy, and the meat inside was dry. Service was average, and to the point. This isn't top-tier for taste, but absolutely gets the job done - and fills a much needed niche of a 24/7 spot in Seattle.

We're still regulars at the joint but to be honest, the quality control is so bad. We've gotten great churros, then some horrid ones depending on who works there if they actually give a crap. Our last monster burrito was 1/2 beans...1 teaspoon of carne asada and 1/3 guac + sour cream. Monster burrito from last month was loaded with cheese, meat, well balanced etc. Your experience will VARY wildly depending who is on shift and what they feel like making for you. Really needs to have oversight. At least it's cheap and fast...It's like a Mexican food casino. Your miles will vary depending on who is in the kitchen.

Love this place, come here all the time. I always a burrito with sour cream, and my wife orders without sour cream. But they always seem to add SC both.

I had been awaiting this site to open in the former Taco Time location at 143rd/Aurora. Aliberto's Jr finally opened around Thanksgiving and greatly appreciate fellow Yelp Elites, Kristine, Erik, and Erica for posting. Note: unlike other fast food drive throughs, it does not have an entrance from the south, enter from the northside of the building adjacent to the auto parts store. From entrance to exit, it's like an upside down horseshoe. Trust me, I wasn't the only one having a drive through moment on this slushy Saturday (12/3/22). Big plus - their drive through is open 24/7. This could be dangerous, lol. There is a vast posted menu, but of course, Murphy's Law couldn't take a proper photo. I did ask for a takeout menu though. Turns out Aliberto's Jr is part of a Burritos California chain with sites in Seattle's University District and Fremont, Mountlake Terrace, and Lakewood. Because they go by various names, I wouldn't be surprised if there were additional locations. For this first ever visit, I ordered a carne asada burrito and was given both green and red salsa in my takeout bag. It sure was hefty that I weighed it on my baking scale....it was 19.25 ounces, well over a pound! I literally had not had a carne asada burrito for years, as I had switched to tacos and quesadillas. This particular behemoth was well wrapped in a tortilla containing grilled steak, pico de gallo, and guacamole. No rice, beans, cheese, or sour cream. Perfect since I didn't want any excessive carbs or dairy. This was delicious and gave me instant San Diego vibes.Convenient, economical, delicious, and friendly drive through service.

This place is pretty awesome. I've only been through the drive-through twice. It's a little bit ridiculous how to navigate getting in and out, but worth the effort. Birria meat is the specialty here, and they do it well. Great flavor, ample portions... exactly what I look for. But I also like their regular crunchy tacos with various meat fillings like carnitas or chicken. This is much better than your traditional fast food taco joints. It's much more authentic and tasty. The unfortunate thing for me is that I am on that side of the water infrequently, and this restaurant is near several other restaurants that I really like as well. So either I don't stop here, or when I do, it causes me to absolutely go over the top eating more than I should on that day.I give it a thumbs up, though, mostly because of the convenience of being able to drive through the varied menu, even though birria is their thing, and the food is fresh and flavorful.

Poor customer service. This place doesn't deserve business. I went through the drive through this morning and the woman at the window dropped my payment method and didn't offer to pick it up and didn't see a reason to even offer. Instead she decided to make a the crappy statement of, "I can't climb out of the window". Keep your food and your crappy service.

Tasty tacos, burritos, and mealsWe often order from Aliaberto Jr, and it's pretty much always been delicious. There's only been one time where the food wasn't quite the expected quality (not sure what was up that day), but we're usually confident of what we'll get.Our favorites:5* fish tacos. Double wrapped and quite large, with huge chunks of flaky, crunchy fish. Has never disappointed and we order it quite often.5* Birria tacos. Double wrapped and filled with delicious shredded beef, super juicy and flavorful. Always delicious, and if there's less filling, it might be half filled instead of 3/4 filled, so still a goodly amount!4* Chile verde. Our favorite chile verde in Seattle: tasty pork chunks in the best sauce (likely derived from their green salsa, but so much more tasty with the pork), comes with guacamole, beans, rice, lettuce, pico de gallo, and tortilla. Knocked off a star since the amount you get seems to be shrinking so how much you receive is variable.4* Chicken/Beef tacos. These are hard shell (deep fried soft shell) making them delectably crispy and so very delicious. Good portion and tasty meat. Dropped a star, really just personal preference, since it can be a bit too oily depending on who makes it4* 5 mini tacos. Comes with a drink (we always get the horchata). Only one flavor can be chosen, but we usually get the Carnitas which are always really tasty. Dropped a star since depending, the horchata can be less tasty (more sugar water) or there's less filling on the tacos, but usually it's still a goodly amount.4* 2 beef burritos plate. Great since you get two burritos packed full of barbacoa, super tasty and juicy, but also comes with rice and beans. This plate is really filling and makes 2 meals or can be split so it's really worth it. Dropped a star since depending on who makes the burritos, they can be on the smaller side and lately they've been getting smaller. The only item that isn't really to my taste is the chile relleno, but everything else is my go-to for Mexican food! All in all, I highly recommend!
