So our baseball team had an end of season party at this Alfy's pizza. We placed our order ahead of time to make sure our food would be ready during the party, and they happily put in. The service seemed rather on point for this visit compared to previous visits which was a nice change. the pizza was decent but a bit over priced. I did really enjoy the salad bar as it had lots of options and seemed very clean. The space we had our party was a nice size for party kept everyone together yet far enough apart so we were not squished together. Overall the party was a success and food was decent and we had an enjoyable time.

This was the worst experience that I have ever had. Customer Service was I'll take your order at 7:02 pm for a pitcher of beer and 2 all you can eat salad bars. We start breaking down our salad bar at 7:30. At 7:20 they started breaking down the salad bar. We rushed over to get more salad. At 7:30-7: 45, they are obvious that they want us to leave, they were loud and they turned off the music. Then a woman came over and said, "we close our dining room at 7:30. We had to drink our pitcher of beer and leave. We were charged an 8.00% (3.28) service charge. F you, the worst customer service. Way to go, you'll be out of business very soon!! We will never return again!! My post is a Zero star!! RUDE

I love Alfy's and always have! As others have mentioned, it's a Snohomish county staple that must be preserved. The crust, sauce, and cheese are so good and unique.

I called in advance to ask if they had any senior discounts, or any other kind of discount specials. The employee I talked to said they had a 15% (?) senior discount on anything at any time; but what was better was for me to use a 35% discount on any pizza during the 11 am - 2 pm lunch time window. So, I went there during that time window, and first asked (a different employee, who was at the counter) if the lunch special discount was still going on, and the employee said yes. So I ordered a small Alfy's Special pizza. When my order had been calculated on the check-out system, I was told a total that seemed too high, given the price of the pizza listed on the menu. I asked about why the price was that high, and I was first told that the 25% discount for lunch had indeed been taken off - and I interrupted at that point to say that I was told on the phone that the lunch discount was 35%. She said "No, only 25%". ... But just for the record, I later used the dinner price for the pizza, ($15.99) and the lunch price for the pizza ($13.49 - which is what I was charged), and calculated that that only corresponds to a 15.63% discount. So both employees told me a discount that wasn't true! Then the counter employee said there was also a "service fee". Because I had not been told about that, I asked what that was, and she said that the fee is explained in words at the bottom of the menu. That's true, but that statement is not something that catches a customer's eye when they order something. I'm guessing most people see a price listed next to each menu item, and assume that that price is what they will pay (plus the usual addition of sales tax, of course). (FYI: The statement says that the fee is something to offset the fact that employee hourly wages have gone up because of the WA state minimum wage laws.)So, my small pizza cost me over $15, even after the lunch discount was applied.Once I got home, I went to the Alfy's web site. It does NOT have the long text explanation of the fee that the store menu had. The web site says: "All guest checks incur a 8% service charge. For our statement, please review the menu(s) below." But I checked EVERYTHING related to the menus listed below, and elsewhere on the web site, and there was NO statement!I also started a test online order. If a person does this: after you've already chosen the items you want to order, and after you then go to check out, the cart check-out window lists a line item called "taxes and fees". That window also contains a small round icon with an "i" on it. You have to know to click on that to get some info about the "taxes and fees". If you do that, you get the following statement below the individual fee amount: "Set by restaurants to help cover operational costs." That statement is totally useless for explaining to you why the fee is there. Shouldn't "operational costs" just be figured into the price of the products or services sold? That's the way businesses usually do it. (And Alfy's should do that too.)Now, to sum it all up, I have two problems with my recent experience at Alfy's:1) The lunch discount I got (15.63%) was different than what I was told it was going to be over the phone (35%) and at the counter (25%). I'm not sure I would have decided to go there for only a 15.63% discount (considering that it used to be a 50% discount before Covid19 stopped the dine-in service. Even the 35% figure was making me think twice. Hopefully the employees on the phone and at the counter did not tell me the wrong figure intentionally. I'd like to think they probably didn't (they both seemed nice). But they really should have known the correct figure to tell people over the phone, and then at the counter. This incident may or may not have caused my to stop going to this Alfy's location in and of itself. ... But now on to:2) What I have the major issue with is the 8% "service fee". The way this fee is handled and disclosed is misleading (and probably intentionally misleading). I believe that businesses should always pay a fair "living wage" to their employees, so they don't have to rely on tips to make a decent amount of money. And if places need to raise employee wages because of minimum wage laws, they should just factor that in as one of their expenses, and set the menu prices accordingly. That way the price for an item that a customer sees on the menu accurately reflects what they will be paying (other than the state sales tax that has always needed to be added.) This practice of adding on a special "service fee" (whether it's here at Alfy's, or at any other restaurant, fast food place, or fast-casual place) is something I object to. And I will no longer patronize any place that does this. So Alfy's, in general, is a chain that I will never go to again.I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 star because the pizza actually tasted pretty good. And the employees were nice.

Bought two carry out pizzas, one was perfect, one had burnt crust on the bottom about the color of chocolate. I called Alphy's from home about the problem and they checked with the guy who boxed the pizza. He said it was fine. Well, okay then--but he doesn't have to eat the pizza. They offered to knock $5 off the total retroactively.Even so, the tomato sauce tasted like ketchup, and the cheese stopped 2-1/2 " from the edge of the crust. I'm not overly picky about food, but that was not a satisfying experience. We used to like Alphy's, so I don't gleefully write this complaint, and there is no reason to go back.

Staff was extremely rude. I was attempting to partake in the arcade and the staff was rude, talking about the restrooms are for customers only and ran to get a manager who was even more rude and short than the first staff member. The place looked dirty and smelled funny too.Don't eat here, don't even try to give them money because they don't care about the public. Rude staff, will never eat their overrated pizza.

What a dump and so rude. Stopped by for a pizza to take home and it smelled like mold and rotten food. Waited forever to get served, the place was totally empty. Manager was super rude to my son who just asked a question about types of crusts. How this place stays open I have no idea. There's tons of pizza places in Marysville, go somewhere else.

This was the worst experience, the supervisor was absolutely rude & disrespectful to multiple groups that I witnessed. She clearly didn't know how to handle customer service & even took quarters out of little kids hands to pay for drinks.. w/o asking parents. she ruined the little boys birthday party happening in the room next to us & ended up calling the cops on parents who were understandably upset with her for grabbing money from their children & treating them so rudely. I would stay far away. Customer service at its VERY worst. So sad.
