After picking up some groceries for the week, I saw this cute coffee shop on the corner of the street. I stopped to grab a coffee but then ended up also getting a frittata that sounded and then ended up tasting amazing. Wasn't in the mood for macarons or pizza, but knew I needed to go back once I had that fantastic coffee and frittata! There was only one person working, I was thinking it was Alexandras she was so nice and kind. If you are in a rush, I would recommend another coffee shop because I did have to wait some time for the coffee and frittata. There is also no wifi at this coffee shop which I really like because it gives you the opportunity to connect in person with others and also be with yourself.

Alexandra's is a great neighborhood joint. Lots of families come here before and after school. They sell out of most of their pastries after 11am but they always have plenty of macarons. Service is really good. Everyone who works here is super nice and patient and attentive! Now honest review:Savory danish: 7/10 that day it was a goat cheese and yam flavor. Danish was dry but the flavor was good. Pretty small though (and flat)Sesame bagel w/ spicy garlic cream cheese: 6/10 bagels were so small and flat and super chewy. For the price it wasn't worth it. Garlic cream cheese was pretty good. Lots of raw garlic inside. Vanilla oat latte: 6/10 just average. Coffee isn't a standoutThe macarons are the show stopper. Any flavor is great. My favorite is the pistachio. Even though the coffee and other pastries are average, the people, ambiance make up for it. Support local businesses!

Variety warm welcome (nice after you've harassed them for 6 dozen). The spot has a great selection of baked goods. I was in the hunt for macarons and they had them! Everyone was friendly, clean spot and I can't wait to go back for some wine and more pastries!!!

This place is super cute! If you live nearby I highly recommend strolling over here on a nice day and sitting in the courtyard. I had an oat milk latte and my mum had a normal latte and a frittata. I totally forgot to take any photos of the food or coffee but I did take a picture of the amazing courtyard out the back!

Very cute coffee shop- inside reminded me of inside an air stream for some reason. The shop has some indoor and outdoor seating. They offer various food offerings that really can be meals, as well as normal bakery items and pastries.I got an oat milk latte with a bit of vanilla syrup. It was pretty good and the store was just so cute. I could see settling in there for a cozy cup with a friend or two. Next time I may just need to try a pastry!

One of the highest quality cafe's in the city. Excellent food and drinks with even better customer service. The aesthetic reminds me of being in small town in France, which is a pretty unique feel here in Seattle. I'll be back asap cause I'm officially addicted to the macarons!

Five stars because this cafe is cute, woman owned, and dog friendly! I came by with a friend for a Valentines Day event they were doing for dogs - they had a photo booth set up and watercolor valentine's day cards to DIY. They even had special dog treats and brought in a local vendor. The space itself is pretty small and a good amount of people turned out for the event, which was so nice to see. I ordered a latte and a twice baked almond croissant for around $15 total, pretty standard Seattle pricing nowadays. The coffee was alright, the croissant was delicious - would order again. Overall, a charming cafe and I'll definitely be back.

I don't like macarons, but I like these ones - they are so good! Cute little neighborhood shop. The macarons are $3.5 each or 6/$18...pricey but aligned with the pricing of other premium products in Seattle.

The shop is nice and I like the vibe. Staff are friendly, food is good. What makes me give 2 stars is that they've up'd their prices recently which make me uncomfortable. I paid like 8 dollars for a chocolate croissant. That's too much.

So I will try to make this brief, but it will be difficult. Alexandra's not only sells the best focaccia I have ever had, the owner has helped to restore my faith in humanity. That's a lot for a cafe, I know. My father has stage 4 colon cancer (and a slew of other terrible illnesses). Prior to having cancer, he lived with me for several months every winter in the Seattle area. He has been a huge focaccia fan for as long as I can remember. When he came one winter, I took him to Alexandra's and he said it was the best focaccia he's ever tasted. Not traditional really, but a take on the bread that he has never had before and loved (he notes the thick loaf, wealth of olive oil throughout, and delicious olives, as well as coarse sea salt on top). He has been talking about this bread for years and has it multiple times when he visits. I have since moved back to Chicago to be with family as my parents continue to have health difficulties. Recently, my father lost a scary amount of weight during chemo treatments and had almost no appetite for months. He was often checked out and foggy in his thinking, but one day he left me a voicemail asking me about the focaccia from Alexandra's and if there was a way he could get it. I emailed the owner, Alexandra, explaining the situation. She replied saying she would love to make him a loaf, free of charge. Sure enough she sent it to us. It arrived days after he was admitted to the hospital with a grave prognosis. It has been the hardest month of my family's lives. Unfortunately, he could not swallow after being admitted to the hospital and the doctors thought it unlikely he would ever swallow again. I decided not to tell him I got the bread just in case they were right. Well, it has been in my freezer for weeks now. My father defied the odds and is still alive. I told him a couple weeks ago that I received the focaccia loaf with a very kind note from the owner and he should use it as motivation to be able to swallow again. He did. We were just told today by his rehab facility that he is cleared to eat anything he wants! We don't know how long he has left exactly, but are so so grateful he is still here and will be having the best focaccia again. Made by such a kind human. I doubt many have read this far, but , in case you have, GO TO ALEXANDRA'S. IT HAS THE BEST FOCACCIA, IT's SUPER CUTE INSIDE,AND IT IS OWNED BY SUCH A GOOD HUMAN.
