Alexanders Greek Kitchen

My husband and I brought some friends of ours who were visiting from Prescott to this restaurant last night. My husband and I have had dinner here numerous times, and we find the food as authentic as the Greek cuisine we have had in Greektown in Detroit (our home town.)Our friends loved their meals (gyro and lamb kebabs with potatoes), and we loved our moussaka and lamb kebabs with potatoes. We split an order of Saganaki----it is a MUST if you visit here. (Honestly, I could eat a whole plate of this myself!)Wanted to give a shout out to our waiter, John, who was a delight. He made our dinner even that more special. Thank you, John, and to the lovely woman who greeted us as we came into the restaurant (I am sorry I did not get your name.)

The best Greek restaurant in all of Phoenix. Everything was authentic and perfectly prepared. Have gone twice and look forward to going twice a month. Definitely a preferred restaurant! Great service and reasonable. Robin & Natasha - Scottsdalestays

The food was outstanding. I have been my those life vacationing in Greece and the food is as close of authentic Greek food as it can get.The girl serving us was sweet, attentive and friendly. Greek music was running in the background and it felt comfortable on the patio despite 100 degrees outside.We drove 45 min and it was worth it.We will be back... soon...

First time here and I absolutely feel like I have been lied to my whole life of what Greek Food SHOULD actually taste like! This place appears to be family owned and you can tell by the amount of care and passion that goes into these recipes! Beautiful view of the fountain and lake across the street if you sit on the covered, outside patio. We went on a Sunday right when they opened at 12noon. The customer service was amazing, they were all so kind and attentive. I highly recommend everything I added pictures of! Everything was delicious- like literally we ate every plate clean. Mama's: there is a changing table in the women's restroom. Parking is great! Huge parking lot.Go here! You will be happy you did.

Very fresh and delicious; a great find! We checked this place out because we were looking for something different in Fountain Hills and stumbled upon this due to the great Yelp score.We sat on the balcony and the view was great, even with the street fair. Nice view of the lake and the fountain, which erupted while we were there so that was a nice surprise.The Tyrokefteri dip was amazing! I'm thinking of getting this To Go for our New Year's party ... loved it! The Greek salad was okay and the chicken gyro was good. Overall, we enjoyed the food and the view.We will definitely return!

What a nice day to sit on the patio. Tonight we had roasted lamb (only served on Saturday) and a lamb gyro. Delicious as always. Amazing Chardonnay and a big pour for the $10/glass

First time at Alexander's and can't wait to go back. We were a party of 8 last night for dinner. We were seated right away. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. spanakopita, tzatziki, saganaki and home baked pita bread. Then dinner. Lamb chops with potato's, chicken and lamb kabobs, gyro sandwiches and gyro plates with green beans. Very generous portions and delicious. My complaints to the chef.

Food was okay. Service was definitely lacking. Ordered some Tzatziki with the chicken, to find out it was 2.00 extra for the tiniest amount.

A very Greek experience. Nice Greek server. Grumpy Greek owner with deep booming voice. The saganaki is always a fun experience as well as a flavor treat. I almost thought I was back in Chicago. The lamb shank was disappointing. Maybe it was the time of day, mid afternoon, but it wasn't up to our expectations. Wasn't falling off the bone like it should be. Disappointing. The green beans were overcooked. The potatoes were ok. Good choice on the Greek Cabernet for the lamb tho. Service was courteous. And the view great. But nothing compelling about the experience. Probably won't return.
