California Skillet is excellent. Second time ordering it. Chock full of veggies, turkey, and w a side of pancakes and limitless coffee. Had an immense craving for it....even comes with a slice of avocado....was very happy with the piled on veggies. The service is excellent. The speed in which the food is outstanding. The ease of payment is the best. Never had to flag anyone down. Seriously excellent, friendly waitstaff.Hot sauce offered ranged from Cholula, Tabasco and Louisiana Hot Sauce. Music was pleasant, atmosphere was relaxing. Will return definitely.

I can't say enough positive things about Alexander's! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, setting the perfect mood for a relaxing brunch.What truly sets them apart is their impeccable service! The staff was attentive, kind and quick to our requests. Our waters and coffee were never empty. A truly baby friendly establishment. They quickly brought a high chair to our table and stored away our stroller. I ordered the Alexander's Special and my husband ordered the California omelet. Both were delicious and very fulfilling. It was probably the best and fluffiest scrambled eggs I ever had.One of the few restaurants that feels If you're looking for a brunch spot that combines exceptional food, cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service, look no further.

I can't believe it has taken me so long to review Alexander's.They took over a greasy spoon I loved gave it a fresh update and continued to serve a great meal. Friendly staff tasty food, what more can you ask for.I'll start with their Breakfast Special, 3 eggs, choice of meat, hash browns, and toast/pancake with coffee and juice for $11.11... what a deal. we have enjoyed their omelettes and lunch time choice burgers and sandwiches. During the weekday it is a nice quiet place to grab a bite, on weekends it is busy but the kitchen and staff are efficient and waits are not to long.

Alexander's is a smaller, cozy home-like diner with good food and great value. My boyfriend and I stopped in on a Saturday around 3:30pm craving a much-needed breakfast / brunch style meal (thank goodness they are open until 4:00pm!) Even half an hour before closing there was a pretty solid amount of customers - Seems like it might be a regular haunt of the neighborhood.California and Mexican Skillets were wonderful - the only issue being the salsa and tortillas that were listed were not included with the latter - but after asking our waitress she fixed the issue and gave us them extra in addition to a side of pancakes. Very solid place with a relaxing diner vibe (sitting near the kitchen and hearing sizzling and cooking pans while sipping coffee was such a morning ASMR feeling). The restaurant also has a (very) small parking lot in the back with free parking for customers - and street parking is available otherwise. Overall good place for breakfast and lunch dishes.

I gave this place another try after multiple meh carry-out experiences. I'm glad I did as I had a great dine-in experience. The restaurant is very clean, service was quick and attentive, and the food was really good. I was blown away by the giant portion size and the value of the food for the price. I enjoyed the ham and cheese club sandwich (HUGE!). The fries were awesome and I also liked the chicken and rice soup. The menu is gigantic: so many choices! I will definitely be back.

This place is fabulous. I love a good diner & this is place doesn't miss. Came here on Easter Sunday out on a brisk walk. Stopped in & sat at the counter. The staff is friendly & accommodating. The service was fab. I had the corned beef hash skillet over easy. So delicious & hit the spot. The coffee was great too. If you're hankering for some great diner fare & you're in the area, give it a go. I'm sure I'll be back here again at some point. Kudos!

This has become our go to weekend breakfast spot. It is a family owned restaurant where the food is tasty and the service is great. You cannot go wrong with the morning special or my favorite La Bamba skillet. If you get there after 10am on Saturday/Sunday you might have to wait for a bit. We try to make it before 9 we love the friendly staff and all the bright light. It is across the park which my kid loves. I plan on trying the other items on the menu once my fixation with La Bamba stops

I tried Alexanders for the first time this afternoon. It's kind of noisy when your first walk in, I would suggest moving to the back of the restaurant past the front counter towards the booths near the bathrooms. I ordered the Biscuits & Gravy with two eggs and bacon on the side. If you want only Biscuits & Gravy it's $9.50 compared to $14.50 with the extras. They give you four half biscuits, some restaurants just give you two.The Biscuits & Gravy were good but it could have used a little bit more of the gravy, the eggs were perfectly cooked as was the crispy bacon. The coffee is good and the waitstaff is welcoming and always around if you need water or coffee refills. I would take a pass on going there on the weekends it's always busy and you'll wind up waiting for a table.

*sigh* Rising from the ashes of the former Jeri's Grill, we have Alexanders.First, the interior is really nice. Fresh and updated and spotlessly clean. Staff is really friendly, attentive and good looking!I say this next statement with the caveat that I WOULD come back and order something else. Some of the breakfast entrees looked great. And a brief conversation with other diners confirmed that they were tasty.My companion and I ordered a Turkey Club and a BLT, respectively. Standard diner fare, seemingly always delicious. However, these sandwiches were BORING. Light on the bacon, the tomatoes were somewhat mealy and light colored. Bread was tasteless and cheap. Disappointing.The soups were okay. Creamy Chicken and Rice was mostly creamy and not a lot of chicken OR rice. The Lentil soup was very good, though.I want this place to do well. I may come back and try something else.
