What a great local place, and geez do all types of people show up once it's lunchtime. No worries, however, tbe front counter is ready. orders come out promptly; service is top notch.but tbe food--wow. they have specials worth a look and then a true mix of tex-mex favorites and American grill favorites. i tried the patty melt--fantastic--fresh generous serving, onions cooked right. My spouse raved about the milkshake too

Food, fantastic food extremely clean place friendly atmosphere. I had the brisket tacos. Lettuce and tomato garnish was very fresh and the bastard tasted great. The tortillas were slightly toasted, which made them a little bit crispy flavor. We ordered chicken strips and a plate pride tasty chicken breast. Portion for under $10. We would highly recommend this place. Any travel from Texas.

Pros: super clean and friendlyCons: slow service and my food came out coldI'm genuinely mystified at all the stellar reviews, it's a weird menu that ranges all over the place. My brisket taco plate was pretty scrimpy for $15, it probably would have tasted better had it been hot but I'm guessing not by much.

Stopped here based on YELP reviews and was not disappointed! People were picking up phone-in orders, sitting in the dining area for serve and walk-ups, like me, were standing in line to order. My husband had a chicken salad sandwich and I had a BLT. Both sandwiches were good and had 3 slices of bread (easier to eat on the road). Despite the wait for our food, which is I inevitable when a place is popular and not serving "fast food", I had no complaints. For travelers with dogs, there is an outdoor eating area so Fido can get some fresh air while you eat. By the way, lots of people ordered Mexican food and milkshakes. A nice stop on the road with good food = 5

Just had lunch here. It was phenomenal! The tacos Al pastor were the best meal I've had in a long time. IIf I ever have reason to come this way again, I'll definitely stop. I'd even drive an hour out of the way. Yum!

Wow, this place never disappoints. If you want authentic New Mexican Cowboy food come here. The ambiance of rustic just as you'd expect and the service is friendly and with a smile. Everything is made fresh so don't expect fast food times when busy but the wait is well worth it. If you're near Cimarron NM you do yourself a disservice if you don't stop. 5 stars would eat again and again and again

This place was literally excellent in every way!We got their cheese burger with fries, a salad and their crazy nachos!!!The burger and nachos were amazing, delicious and HUGE!!! What a great surprise on our trip from Colorado Springs to Albuquerque!Great job Zayra's!!!!

Clean well decorated dining room. Has lots of food choices. Food was made to order so it took a little longer because when we stopped they were packed! We loved the large burritos with an amazing green sauce. Glad we stopped here on our way through.
