Your Other Closet

This consignment shop sits in a large double-decker strip center. Everything in here is either next to new or very gently used. This is a consignment store, not a Goodwill so the prices are definitely going to be higher although they do have a color-coded system for sale items. Everything in here fits within a 5000 square-foot space and they have lots of furniture and clothing of course (mostly women's). They also have oddball items like hot wheels, comic books, and baseball cards. If you don't wanna pay that new furniture price, they definitely have a great assortment of couches, chairs, and tables for about half retail. Plenty of jewelry on display as well. They do have three dressing rooms, but no public bathroom.

I had some clothing that I no longer wear and thought I might sell them. This place was recommended to me and a bit of a trek to get there. The 2 ladies were very nice. One was named Cindy. They explained that they have a lottery system for people bring items in to sell. They only take 3 people each Tuesday, and they are booked until July for people to bring their items in. Even then, it is a lottery, so technically you may never get chosen to sell your items to them. They said they pay $8 for pants, and other clothing is priced accordingly. Wow! What a pain to try and do business here. It was hardly worth the trip and I will not be back.

While I haven't actually been to the store, I did have a very pleasant experience buying from them online. I recently purchased a puzzle from them. When the package arrived, they had thrown in an extra puzzle just for the fun of it. It was an unexpected treat and was very appreciated.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the people immediately put me at ease. The quality and variety of the merchandise makes me come back for more!When I travel to Albuquerque it is a "must see" stop no matter what!Cannot recommend this shop enough!Linda

The ladies of Your Other Closet are so great to work with. I have a been a seller with Your Other Closet since July and I have nothing but positive remarks with how smooth it has been. They sell my items at reasonable prices and are very organized. The whole store itself has an eclectic mixture of style, very fashionable, but for all generations!

I've tried to give this place a few chances, but every time I go in there they are rude! I swear I've spent money in there before but they are never helpful and always watching like a hawk. I don't get it. I've dropped hundreds of dollars at other similar store but it's the management that I just can't get over. They won't be getting my money.

I was watching the taekwondo class next door, and noticed this shop I hadn't seen before. When I walked in the woman informed me they had been open 5 days now. So new business! I live a good consignment shop. There isn't yet a large variety of clothing, however I see promise for this consignment shop. The prices are very reasonable. Sometimes I feel the consignment shops can be marked up as if they are selling new clothing. The clothing seemed to all be good quality, great labels too, so I assume she will only accept quality, clean clothing. This is very good in my book. Kelli was very pleasant and I think once the shop has a bit more inventory it will be a success! Good luck new shop!

Love how friendly And how they actually remember your name when you walk in! Great people great place! Always neat and tidy and really nice secondhand clothes and things.

Fun shop! I got two to three times a month and there is always new merchandise. Unusual clothing for a good price and it's so much fun to find to find new treasure!

I have been consigning my clothes at this shop for over a year now. My experiences have all been positive. They are very nice and organized and have very good prices. They are very fair with their consigners too. I'm glad I am doing business with this store. Thank you!
