I was told by another mechanic that my vehicle needed catalytic converter's at the tune of $1600. when I took my vehicle to Alan, he checked it out, clear the codes and it passed emissions! so right then I knew that this was an honest person. since then I've had my vehicles in 4 more more times. he's always very fair, shows you the parts that have been taken out, that are damaged or whatever and is very personable. totally recommend this place

Several years ago, I took my son's car to him. We bought his car from another shop in town and it failed within a few months. Another shop had it for over three months trying to replace the engine. It is not easy to go into a project that someone else has already worked on and screwed up. He was amazing and honest. I am grateful to have finally found a mechanic who is both trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable. He has been our family mechanic ever since.

I've been to see Alan at Wyoming Service Center a few times. He is always fair and has never been misleading. The first time there, he had me in and out in minimal time for my requested service, and even offered to change a few bulbs at parts cost only/no labor charge. I didn't realize they were out, so I thanked him and said yes. Glad he noticed, since one of them was a brake light!Another time I remember, he was able to diagnose and solve a problem that I had spent time and money on, trying to do it myself. He found that the previous mechanic had incorrectly routed an incorrect serpentine belt. Go figure! My belt had been squealing and I noticed my tensioner was frozen. Apparently the previous owner/mechanic had routed the wrong belt improperly, forced the tensioner to full extension, and then torqued the tensioner mounting bolt on, so the belt wouldn't fall off. (I originally thought my tensioner was bad, but Alan's find explained why I wasn't able to budge the bolt!) Anyhow, I like to work on my car when I can, but if need anything done or I'm in over my head, I go to Wyoming Service Center. Alan is very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and will even take the time to explain what's going on with the vehicle, and personally show you.

I brought my car in for an oil change and Alan noticed that the automatic shifter was sticking in park. He deduced (without looking) that this was due to a problem with the braking interlock and that my brake lights were out! It ended up being a few loose wires. He also noticed the tires way under-inflated and fixed it all the next day at a reasonable price. Very knowledgeable and honest guy.

Told me over the phone & in person oil change was $18.50, when I picked up the car he charged me $50! He said the $18.50 was only labor, oil/filter/fees/tax was extra. Very deceptive, I did not appreciate it & won't be back. At least I didn't come in for a more expensive service.

I have used Wyoming Service center for many years and have been very satisfied with Al,s work. I started many years ago when I had a 99 Merk, Marquie. Had a raw gas smell after filling up with gas. Took it to many other mechanics and spent multiple dollars. One local Ford distr charged me over six hundred dollars and gave up. They told me to not fill it up and could not repair it. Al found the leak in about 60 seconds, and was able to repair it. I have used him multiple times since and have been very satisfied.

Great service! I went to Wyoming Service Center after being very frustrated by my previous mechanic, who worked on my belts multiple times and couldn't get it right.Alan was friendly and professional, did the work quickly for a reasonable rate, and my belts have worked great since! He gave me a full explanation of the issue with my belts and how he did the repair, also checked my tire pressure and a few other small issues.I will be back when needed. Very impressed!
