I moved into Wyoming Place in February 2020. Before moving in I noticed that it was occasionally difficult to get ahold of the office, they never seemed to answer the phone and it would sometimes be a day between email replies. I brushed it off as the price was right and the apartments seemed nice and I'm usually a very self-sufficient person. As the move-in date approached I made it known multiple times that I wanted to see the apartment before move-in. Having worked in property management it was important to me to make sure the apartment was what I thought it would be before picking up the keys. They did not want to allow me access to the apartment before move-in. So I once again let it go. The wrong office hours were sent to me in my packet and so I set a time for move-in and found out the office would not be open yet. No problem, I rearranged a few things. Upon entering the apartment it became clear to me that the office did not check it for readiness before move-in. The stale cigarette smell hit me like a ton of bricks upon opening the front door. I had to call the office 3 times before someone answered. When I informed them of the problem they seemed confused and offered to let me move the move-in date so they could take care of it. I explained that was not possible all the arrangements had been made and the furniture was on the way. They gave me an Ozone machine and said they would be back at 5 pm to pick it up. The apartment itself was dirty and had to be cleaned before anything could be unpacked. The carpet is extremely worn with bare patches and stains and when we vacuumed it we found it was dirty. We used a Rainbow System Vacuum to vacuum the carpets and the water was black. We did it 6 times and each time the water was black and full of particulate. This was disheartening but as furniture was arriving there was not much to be done. I settled into my new home am overall pleased with the apartment itself but there have been issues.1. They never came to pick up the ozone machine so a couple of days later I took it back to the office.2. They still rarely answer the phone in the office and have only returned my messages once.3. In April I sent an email inquiring about how to pick up packages now that the office was closed due to Covid and received no reply.4. Someone leaves their trash outside my apartment.5. I put a work order in on the 1st at 15:00 and it was not addressed until the 9th at 14:30.I emailed on the 1st at 1500 and they responded on the 2nd at 1155 that they had submitted the work order. They made no mention at this time that they had an emergency on another property and had no maintenance on site. When I called on 5th at 1530 to see why my work order had not been completed, then they informed me of the issues. One of the things I put in a work order for was that my kitchen sink was leaking. When I asked if they could at least fix that, I was informed that they would only come out if it was an emergency. Since I did not feel it was an emergency, I got off the phone feeling dejected. 10min later the office called me back to let me know that the sink was an emergency and someone would be out in about an hour to fix it. 2 hours later someone showed up. He was very friendly and polite and replaced my garbage disposal. On Tuesday the 8th we had a heavy rain shower and my bedroom window leaked a ton. I was up all night changing the towels out so that there would not be water damage in the apartment. I sent an email to the office at about 0040 letting them know of the problem so they would be aware first thing. At 1130 that morning I received a call asking if now would be a good time to complete my outstanding work order. I said that it would and ask if they had added the window. They had not read my email yet at that point. So I informed her of the problem and then we hung up. Someone finally came to complete my work order at 1430.The office staff is extremely friendly and seems to care about the residents in person but they are very difficult to get ahold of outside of that. I like my apartment and besides the communication issues and the carpet, I have no problems living here. However, if you are not a self-sufficient person this is not the place for you.

Awesome place to live because the grounds are always clean, and the pool area is well maintained. The new landscaping is pleasing to eye. The property is in an excellent convenient location.

I am recently moving out of this apartment complex after a 2 year stay with them. I originally rented from them due to the complex being close to my place of employment as well as in walking distance of grocery stores. Not to mention the pricing was very affordable for my current lifestyle. I was a quiet tenant that paid my rent either on time or early every month. I kept to myself and caused no trouble during my stay.At first the apartment seemed very nice. It was spacious and the neighbors seemed pleasant to be around. Sadly that all changed once the first month had past. Here is what I came to find out would be the price for living in such a cheap complex. 1. My upstairs neighbors were very loud and with thin walls it was not a pleasant experience to try and sleep at night to banging and stomping. Not only was that an annoyance but there was also a periodic loud clicking sound that would start off light and become louder and louder. This noise would occur 2 to 3 times per day and would last for about 5 minutes. Perhaps it was a water heater or some electrical equipment of my upstairs neighbors, I don't know which. 2. My hot water in the shower would only last for 5 to 10 minutes depending if the neighbor was using it as well. I can't even begin to express how irritating that can be in the morning. 3. One of my neighbors looked like a homeless man and would constantly walk around the complex in just his socks and a dirty, stained pair of pants and shirt. It never appeared as though he ever changed his clothes and would just walk around the area or sit near the entrance to the apartments. He would also knock on neighbor's doors asking to borrow money or cigarettes. Oh and don't let a pretty girl walk by him because he will stare and follow her around like a creeper. 4. Another neighbor's child would ride a scooter around the complex shouting obscenities at people she didn't like. Somebody is a bad parent5. When something broke down in my apartment, a light fixture or even the sink, it took days to get it fixed. There were times I even had to remind the staff because they forgot to put a work order in. 6. Speaking of staff you can expect them to treat you like a second rate that has ruined their day by asking them for a tiny bit of help. It's no wonder they have a huge turnover rate as you will see new staff members almost monthly.7. They also advertise that they have a scenic view and strive to make their tenant's lives the best they possibly can. All there is to view is the parking lot and an arroyo sitting next to the complex. Don't allow their advertisements to fool you. Even the pool is very Ghetto. In conclusion I would like to say that the old saying of you get what you pay for holds true with the Wyoming Place Apartments. If it was not for their cheap rate, which increases yearly, I would not have stayed there past my first year. The complex is good for beginning tenants but if you want any sort of a quality living experience you may want to try the complex on the other side of Spain.

We liked this complex for the spacious apartment for a good price. It was nice for a while until we realized how sketchy the complex is. There's always random people walking around and the cops are there about once a month. Recently, we had to call the cops in the middle of the night because the neighbors above us were screaming and crying. The ladies in the office are nice and we like the size of our apartment, but it can be a creepy place to live.
