World Cup

We stopped by World Cup Cafe for a little change of pace with our morning coffee. Cute little place, and glad we stopped. The staff was very nice and friendly. The coffees and banana bread (warmed) were all good. Cannot ask for more in a little coffee/cafe spot! Recommend World Cup in Taos, NM.

The staff is super awesome! Especially the really nice ginger woman. I had a breve latte and they use my favorite dairy company which was a huge plus to me. I love all the little decorations and they seem to have a very similar humor and taste as I have. Definitely a place that would become a hangout spot for me. The awesome lady gave me a bag which was very nice, I'll use it for art supplies.

Cash only. It is tiny. Maybe 4+ seats in the whole place. The awkwardness of waiting on your coffee in this room with everyone kinda exchanging glances while standing shoulder to shoulder is sitcom perfect, if you're into that kind of thing. Maybe if there was a line or some order it might be less entropic. The coffee was actually pretty good, but I passed on it the next day due to the congestion and overall feel. Try it, be your own judge, but I'd plan to take the coffee with me.

I used to live in NW NM and when I'd stop into Taos for groceries Id make sure to hit this spot up. Amazing sustainable coffeehouse with little pastries. The drinks are great and you can feel good knowing you aren't contributing to abusive coffee politics! Baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. Chill place to walk in, grab a drink and a snack, and walk out. Love it here and can't wait to come back again.

Best coffee in Taos! The dark chocolate orange was unique and absolutely delicious. The Mexicana was wonderful as well!

Been coming here for years...Taos' quintessential corner coffee shop has been doing it with their own unique flavor that rings true to this day.

The coffee here is good. Nothing to run home about but better than Starbucks. What bothers me more is considering they are "the world cup" they are not very worldly. There is definitely a certain type of person that is more welcome there and they are not afraid to show it. My abuela also said her and her friends have experienced prejudice. So sad. I want small businesses to thrive in the plaza but dang. Also, no where to sit, just grab and go.

Always on the search for the coffee hotspot in town. And if World Cup isn't it, it definitely should be! We had coffee here multiple times during our Taos stay. The coffee is great. Plain and simple. Made perfectly. I had a blackberry mocha and my husband had a mint mocha. The flavors were prominent in both, which is rare in our experience. We are pretty particular with our coffee, and World Cup has made us very very happy!

This is a great spot to pick up some nice coffee in the morning. The prices are highly affordable, and the coffee and other stuff are great, 10/10 coffee shop.

I very much enjoy the flavor and complexity of their coffee and the staff was very kind. Even when busy in this tiny little spot, they are very personable and efficient.
