Women's Specialists of New Mexico

I had a calm and comforting experience with the Women's Specialists of New Mexico Clinic. The provider I visited with is Heather Vietch. I felt she listened and addressed my concerns with professionalism and compassion. I was so pleased with my care today, that I am returning to see a general physician here as well. The offices, waiting room and facilities are clean and well kept. I recommend this clinic to anyone seeking great women's health in the Albuquerque area.

I've gone to the Lead/Coal & 1-25 location of WSNM for many years now and have had nothing but good experiences. Every provider I've seen has made me feel at ease and that they actually care about my health outcomes (especially Elizabeth Shanley, PA-C and Dr. Alyssa Mayo). They lay out all the options, are never shaming or judgmental, and always make time to answer all my questions. I leave feeling informed and in charge of my healthcare. So grateful for the expertise and kindness of this team, thank you!

Worst place ever! Embarrassing to say this was the SECOND awful experience. Learn from my mistakes. DONT trust this place with your important bits! First time I was in a medicalCrisis when a dr on call from this facility was brought to hep me but instead just degraded me and made me feel even shittier. Next YEARS later I made a new appointment due to an urgent situation and thought a different dr would be ok. WRONG. Seems this is the type of people they hire. The absolute worst kind of woman. One who feels smarter and self righteous who is dismissive of what you are saying, talks over you or flat out ignores your words. Tells you nothing is wrong despite being in pain and need of medical care. Offers no help or suggestions Literally wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place. Good luck ladies stay alert don't accept care! There are great places in Albuquerque don't go here if you can help it.

They have good providers but unfortunately they care more about money than their patients. If you owe $12.00 they make it seem like you owe $1200 and won't schedule you until taken care of. They rarely answer the phones and when they do pick up, they are rude. It's kind of disappointing because the providers and nurses are not this way but they set the tone for the whole place.

Terrible service. They forgot about me and took in other patients before I had to physically come back in after 36 minutes of waiting. The lady was unapologetic and was just like oops it looks like we've been taking in other patients before you. Before this visit I came in at my scheduled time that I had been emailed and texted. Receptionist told me my appointment was an hour later and she'll "try to squeeze me in". Y'all need to get your scheduling in check and let your patients know if there is going to be a longer wait time. Considering every time someone checks in y'all tell them, "they'll help you soon". How soon is soon? If there is a long wait time you should tell people, people have other responsibilities..

Not everyone's favorite place to visit, but it's a one-stop shop. This location actually moved down the street from where it was, and parking is so much more easier. The waiting room feels like you're going to get a pedicure done with all the leather couches and bright lights. Dr. Schwarz listens and remembers her patients. Staff and nurses are friendly

Women Specialist of New Mexico has failed their patients. I had to leave the country to get the medical attention needed. Dr. Wurzel refused the surgey that was need for me to get better. If you have Endometeriosis go elsewhere because they will not care or listen. The staff are absolute rude and very unprofessional. Doctors need more medical training. People say Dr. Wurzel is the best surgeon in New Mexico. Please think about seeing Dr Wurzel before making an appointment. He told me to find another surgeon. The director of Women Specialist is not very helpful. They will drain you for every penny you have for unneeded procedures and ultrasounds. Imagine I have gone through tricore and ultrasounds almost every month.

I recently moved back to New Mexico and needed a new provider. It took a while to get an appointment, but the wait wasn't long at the time of the appointment. The provider I saw would not order labs for me, which I usually get done annually.

there good if ur of the higher class I had one of the receptionist tell me to leave because my insurance was not going through. I had just been in a minor car accident and wanted to make sure my child was okay the refused to take me

They were able to get me in to see a doctor quickly because of my issue. Dr. Swartz was great explaining what might be wrong and the tests that were going to confirm it. She clearly laid out all the options for treatment of the different scenarios.
