During our second visit in a short time, we were extremely disappointed with the service. First, we ordered a bottle of wine, which took an excessively long time to arrive, and when it did, it was the wrong bottle. The sommelier was apologetic and helpful, but it still took a long time to get the correct bottle.I ordered a 16oz Elk Tenderloin, which was 50% more expensive than the 10oz Steak that was also ordered. However, when the elk dish arrived, it was only half the size of the steak entrée. When we asked the waiter about this, even he was confused about the portion difference. The so-called manager came to our table to ask how everything was, and when we raised the issue of the portion size discrepancy, she simply said "okay" and walked away without addressing the problem. Leading us to believe she was not the manager, but the hostess. We waited for a resolution, but it took 20 minutes for them to simply remove the item from the bill. By that time, my elk was cold. Additionally, the manager and two bussers were standing in the corner of the kitchen, whispering and staring at our table, rather than addressing the issue. To make matters worse, despite the terrible service, a 20% gratuity was added to the bill. It was only in the small print on the menu, and it seemed like the staff knew they would receive it regardless of the service provided. The lack of leadership, direction, and ownership from the manager was evident in the rest of the staff as well.As we were leaving, the "manager" sarcastically said "byeee" and gave snarky looks. When we told her she was a poor leader, she continued to blame the waiter, showing no accountability for herself, her team, or the operations.

We live in Santa Fe, and highly recommend a meal here! We recently enjoyed dinner on the patio, which was perfect for a late-summer evening. Appetizers and mains were fabulous; I had salmon and my husband had the steak. The flavors were delicious, such as the lamb with harissa-like spices that came with pita and cucumber salad. Great wine list. The hostess and our server were both excellent, too! Can't wait to go back.

One too many spices in every dish. Waiter not familiar with menu. No bread offered with dinner so we ordered the Naan plain. Whatever they put on it made it inedible Then we needed them to remove it from our bill. 20% gratuity included.First time in Santa Fe. Just the two of us! Honestly, the first disappointing meal of We've had in five days and that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. With all the excellent places that you can eat in Santa Fe, despite the very charming room, avoid!

They only get one star because 0 isn't an option. Allowing for reservations that they have no intention of honoring.

We arrived for reservation. Hostess couldn't find it, manager came over and after sussing things out she and I both realized we had booked the wrong date. No problem, we can still seat you right away. Once seated we ordered drinks, one of which was a glass of Caymus (hubby was excited as he loves this wine) and I ordered a cocktail. After about 30 minutes waiter comes by table and informs us the reason things are taking so long is they can't find the wine hubby ordered. Hubby then asks for a substitute recommendation. They bring subbed wine out along with my cocktail and we order apps and entrees. (Yam cake, roasted carrots, Tuna tartare and sirloin steak). We wait, 45 minutes later, still no food, observed other diners arrive, order, their food comes out fairly quickly. Waiter comes out, apologizes for wait, food is on its way. Then a server brings out plate of naan style bread with caramelized onions. Informed him we did not order this. He takes it back, comes back a few minutes later and says oh it's complementary due to your wait for your food which is on its way. Waiter also comes out a few times during wait/delays and is very gracious, apologizing profusely stating he is usually a bartender Ok, thank you. We wait. 15 minutes later still no food. At this point we have been waiting almost 2 hours, no food and hubby talks with manager to cancel food. Manager apologized but offered no explanation for such a long wait. She did take food off our bill, we paid for beverages and generously tipped our waiter who we feel did all in his power during this dining experience. Manager did offer to box up food which finally was ready as we were settling our bill. We took items back to our hotel, looked in bags we saw 3 of the 4 items ordered. Missing tuna tartare. We have never experienced anything like this in our many years of dining out. W & R really need to address service issues if they want to compete successfully with the multitude of fantastic restaurants in Santa Fe

I went into Secreto for the first time ever, I've lived in Santa Fe over ten years and I remember last I was there was before the pandemic and it was an old looking bar that seemed musty and dark. They remodeled sometime after, and now it was a very elegant and chic bar, filled with lovely people from all sorts of life.I arrived thirsty and famished after working a long day, excited to try their cocktails and new adjoining restaurant Wolf and Roadrunner. It was a Sunday afternoon and most of my favorite restaurants were closed, so I decided to settle in and treat myself. The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the bar was set up like a fancy apothecary, filled with herbs, dried fruits and homemade syrups. I immediately felt at home. I had a shot of Lalo tequila, chilled and salted to begin the evening, as I sipped on this I also ordered a cocktail called Diablo which consists of tequila, lemon juice, and ginger syrup. Wow what a lovely choice from their many handcrafted cocktails to order from. The evening started wonderfully and My bartender Cable was friendly, informative, and attentive.I looked over the menu selection from Wolf and Roadrunner and decided to order the Prawns with Iberico Sausage accompanied by a side of Orzo Rissoto. When the Prawns came out I was ready to devour them, and I cut into the first morsel and discovered that there wasn't much flavor to it, the Iberico sausage turned out to be some form of sliced pepperoni. I let it go deciding that perhaps my second prawn woul be better but unfortunately they turned out to be milly, like if they were old prawns, I didn't want to fuss right off the bat so I ate the center parts, wondering if I might get sick from old prawns. I left most of the plate untouched. Then I was served the Orzo Risotto, which turned out to be a small bowl of creamy soup with Orzo in it. It was so soupy that I just couldn't eat it, if I wanted soup I would have ordered soup. The bartender graciously took it away as I sent it back. I had a second round of drinks and I was still hungry because so far two items were a fail. I decided to order a third dish (three times a charm). I ordered the Naan and Lamb sausage dish. Meanwhile I was worried about getting sick from the Prawns so I asked the bartender for a shot of apple cider vinegar. They brought out a side of Naan, and I asked them where is the rest of the dish, I was looked on with a perplexed looked from the friendly runner. Turns out that there is a side of Naan and the appetizer Naan and Lamb sausage, simple mistake, I'm pretty chill and enjoyed my cocktail while I waited for the rest of the order to arrive. The dish arrived shortly afterwards and it was a lamb patty surrounded by a green sauce that looked like a chimichurri sauce topped with pickled red onions. When I saw the patty on the plate, I had visions of going to Costco and buying hamburger patties, and yes by this time I was jaded. I tried the sauce first and all I could taste was tons of garlic. I absolutely love garlic but this sauce was so garlicky that it could have driven legions of vampires away, I smiled and continued. The homemade Naan was delicious for sure, light, fluffy and tasty. Now, time to try the Lamb sausage patty. As I tried the first bite, my mouth was filled with an intense flavor of spices, so much that I couldn't taste the lamb, I believe the primary seasoning was cumin, which intensely overpowered the lamb, all I could taste was seasoning. Okay maybe trying all the components together might make the dish taste better, so I got some Naan, a bit of lamb, and sauce and went for it. I might as well have had a heaping tablespoon of chopped garlic and spices and swallowed it with Naan bread. I just couldn't, I didn't want to fuss so I just asked for my check. I always have dessert but decided against it because I couldn't handle a fourth fail. I boxed my lamb and sausage and paid for my bill. It was 81.00 dollars plus a 25 tip. They took the Orzo off. I decided to leave my boxed food. Next time I go back to Secreto,Loungeit will be on a full stomach. It's been a while since I've had such a horrible experience. I understand that they have been there for 6 months, but you would think it would be fine tuned by now or perhaps they should taste the food before they sent it put maybe there's a disgruntled prep cook, but whatever it may be, I hope they get it together so they can be successful.

Great meal and great service. This place may be a bit under the radar but is surely worth a visit for dinner. Eclectic menu, very nicely prepared meals, great waitstaff and delightful evening.

We've been to every fine dining restaurant 5 times over and our first dinner at Wolf and Roadrunner beat them all hands down. I don't say that lightly. It was surprisingly phenomenal. We weren't expecting the level of deliciousness that we enjoyed, truly. The sourdough naan was mouthwateringly, confusingly good. The beef tenderloin came out with a sprig of sage smoking, and had a smoked color to it and a "crust" that defied the understanding of a simple home cook or the average eater, and I knew we just stepped into the inner workings of a true CHEF. The texture, flavor and butteriness of that meat was spectacular. The risotto was rich without being heavy, like a masterful mac-n-cheese for fancy adults, it hit the soul of your palate like you were finally home, not knowing how far and long you've been away. The green beans were charred and seasoned to perfection and rested unpretentiously atop a superb romesco. The service was unassuming, genuine and attentive. The setting at the St. Francis is just a historic dream and one that will always feel special. We'll be back very very soon and over and over.
