Friendly and fast baristas (good looking, too ). Great coffee. Roomy, with an abundance of places to sit. 70s & 80s rock tunes on the speakers. I'm comfortable here.

This place was an absolute win. I'm a travel nurse and new to being gluten free. I've found it's difficult to find places in general while traveling as well as finding places that are dedicated gluten free, have a variety and/or are really careful with cross contamination. I found this place on the Find Me Gluten Free app (super helpful if you need it and are traveling). I was so excited to see all of the bakery goods that were gluten free. I almost cried. There were scones, cake, muffins, cookies, and empanadas. I'm sure I'm missing some items. I had the gf scone with peppers and ham (wish I would've gotten a picture). It was sooo good. It reminded me of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, but jazzed up. My partner got the gf lavender raspberry muffin. The combination of flavors: . We couldn't tell it was gluten free-- which is awesome. Its usually VERY obvious if a baked good is gluten free. We both ordered lattes and I was unsure about the amaretto syrup. The baristas were nice enough to let me look at the bottle and scan it with my app. They also informed me the owner is gluten free as well (I also read this and that she was careful about cross contamination). We're traveling through Albuquerque or this would definitely be a staple for us. If we're ever in the area again, I'm getting a gf empanada. We loved the gf lavender raspberry muffin so much we got one to go as well as the oatmeal cream pie. Hopefully this review helps someone. And I hope the owner knows how much it means to us that there are places like this. It's such a great feeling to feel safe when eating somewhere other than home.

It was my first time visiting this coffee shop. I didn't realize how big of a space this was. Very spacious inside seems to be roomy lots of places to sit. Greeted by friendly staff. They offer a variety of baked goods. Came in to try an iced latte, was impressed by flavor. Very rich in flavor. I didn't get to try any baked goods because I just needed a caffeine boost for the day. But I'll come back and try their food offerings at a later time.

I tried Whispering Bean for the first time today, which was a Sunday at 10am. There was ample seating of different kinds, including normal chairs, high chairs, and comfy lounge chairs. The service was friendly. I ordered two egg bites; one was the spinach, egg, tomato, and feta selection. The other was the ham, egg, green chile, and cheese. The barista warned the bites, but they were barely lukewarm on the outside and room temperature in the middle. The heating timer should likely be doubled. I ordered an iced white chocolate mocha. I don't really remember it either way, even though I just got home from the coffee shop. Overall, a nice-looking, clean place with ample seating. The coffee isn't remarkable, and the food needs to be heated longer.

Whispering being is one of the best coffee houses around. They cater to gluten allergies with the best baked girls I've found in New Mexico. It's a fun place to visit with friends catch up have great treats and support female female owned small business.

Nice place, much larger inside than it seems from the outside. Plenty of outdoor seating on a nice day. My friend and I stopped by late morning on a Tuesday. The establishment had a very steady flow of traffic but not too crowded. It was clean and there is a nice variety of seating. Service took a while and we couldn't figure out why the line, just to order, was moving so painfully slow since the wait to get the order was not much at all. I had the dark roast coffee and the gluten free berry muffin and the coffee was tasty and rich - quite good - and the muffin very good.

I did not realize I've never reviewed this awesome coffee little spot. It's located right next to sprouts and they have a gallery which was added after I first started coming here with the local artist working in it that you can buy which I always find really cool. I love nitro coffee and they actually have a really good nitro coffee one of the best ones I've had down in Albuquerque since they moved here, three and the owners are always very friendly when you come in they do sell some local pastries and the staff every time I've come in here it's just been the best and always friendly and that's always a fun thing and the ambience is kind of laid-back. You can come in and bring your computer and work on projects or homework or just surf the web if you want to I definitely recommend whispering bean coffee roasters.

I am a sucker for gluten free options and we went out of our way to try this place. I ordered a soy chai and a muffin. My chai tasted more like seamed soy milk with an essence of chai, while my muffin was very moist and a bit overly sweet for a breakfast treat. My husband got a latte that also tasted more like steamed milk than coffee. Service was ok, seemed like it was very much a locals hangout. Lots of seating available. Maybe it was an off day for them, however, neither my husband or I were very impressed.

I'm all about local. I love the occasional chain, but when I can support local I will totally choose them! Bias out!! Lol Whispering bean, is newly expanded, and is a great place to get a cup of coffee, meet friends, do work, or find some amazing gluten free deserts! The menu has all your fave variations of coffee and tea inspired drinks. The staff is always welcoming and smiley! This is turning into one of my favorite places!

-The food was great, nothing was too old and the flavors were great.-The service was quick and the baristas were delightful and kind, and made it much easier to order as it was our first time there.-The store is cute and offers plenty of sitting and light. -For our two food items and three drinks our total was $25 before tip, much better priced than other cafes we have been too.
