Western Mechanical

The HVAC unit on my small commercial building needed to be replaced so I called 3 companies to get an estimate for a new unit. I chose to deal only with companies who would provide a free estimate. I arranged for an estimate from Western Mechanical and was told nothing about a fee, or I wouldn't have had them come out. It took over a week to get an appointment. Then on the appointed day, the tech called looking for my location in Rio Rancho where he was sent by their dispatch, even though my building is in downtown Albuquerque. It was another week before they rescheduled at the correct location, and when they did, instead of the requested estimate the tech did a hasty unauthorized repair on my unit and charged me $198.49.Since no fees or repairs were authorized, I made multiple calls to Western to question the charge but could not get past the receptionist to talk to anyone and was put on endless holds. Only after receiving a threat to be sent to collections, was I finally able to speak to accounts payable. They claimed they had informed me of the fee in advance, which is completely untrue as I would not have agreed to it, and were unwilling to budge on the charge which I never authorized.If you choose to work with Western Mechanical, beware of hidden fees and be sure to get all costs in writing up front.

Always timely even in the super busy season. And if something occurs and a followup is needed, it'll get scheduled in a pretty timely manner. Have used them for various plumbing and HVAC needs for several years. A neighbor recommended Western Mechanical.

They were repeatedly HOSTILE AND THREATENING over misunderstandings. They "forgot" to turn our gas back on before leaving. (Which was why nothing was lighting, which they were aware of.)Stay far away.

I had a company tell me I had to replay a HVAC unit, EVERYTHING was bad the tech said, he wrote up a long letter. I called Western Mechanical (they have great reviews and they were recommended to me by several people) to come out as a "second opinion". Not only was my unit fine, it's still going 4 years later. Western Mech is MY new HVAC company. I go to them for both my home and company. I've never had an issue. They saved my family ~9K.

Needed a sudden extreme repair for my refrigerated air system. Western Mechanical provided immediate service, clear and fair pricing, thoroughgoing diagnostics and excellent repair. Professional through and through. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for all such work.

We were so happy with this company! Justin came out, assessed the problem with our boiler and the proceeded to fix it. We now have working heat and hot water again!! We will definitely call this company with any future needs for our Heating, Cooling and Plumbing needs.

I wouldn't recommend this company. When I call about prices, they told me the diagnosis was for free. Well, now I have a bill of $90. When I called the owner, he was yelling at me and being disrespectful that I either pay or he will send the bill to collections. He only cares about money. Please, be aware!

This company is great! Had some services done on our Air conditioner unit. They came out right away fixed it with no issues. The guys are fast a knowledgeable and friendly. They did an awesome job! I recommend these guys to any one!
