Very clean and yet welcoming! Especially after many miles of "nothing" . Nowhere inviting within many miles, for a restroom and coffee break, certainly. We were instantly greeted in a warm way . The pastry case was fully yet quickly explained . My lemon danish and partner's cinnamon twist were exceptionally fresh and flaky . The drip coffee was robust ,most excellent to fuel our further journey.

What a beautiful and charming business. Even in late fall, thier flower garden was thriving! The young ladies working were sweet and helpful. The maple latte was delicious and my child recommends the blue raspberry Italian soda.

Slight detour off I-25 north of Las Vegas NM. Clean and beautifully decorated coffee house in older northern NM house. Large patio with flowers and fruit trees. One size various coffee drinks, teas and pastries. Plan to stop whenever on this route. True gem in the area.

A total gem: great service, interesting pastries and excellent drinks (a traditional mocha, an iced vanilla latte with almond mylk, and a perfect dirty chai). As noted by other reviewers the grounds are super lovely (dahlias, zinnias, attended by more nectar-loving monarchs and moths than I've seen in years). The interior features interesting artworks and is a totally inviting place to sit & sip. Watrous is a literal dot-on-the-map, but it's 1000% worth it to exit I-25 briefly enough to grab something here. One of those surprising "this? here?" spots...but if you need a caffeine fix it's a must-visit.

Sweet little stop, fast easy access off I25. Coffee is good not bitter, a tad sweeter than my husband's preference, as is my chai. We also had the green chili burritos, good flavor very cheesy, tortillas split easily. Excellent prices. $25 for two drinks two burritos and two pastries. We will come again when we come back through.

Get off I25 and come see this place. Someone spent a ton of money redoing a broken down old house. Look at Streetview to see what it looked like. The grounds have flowers and a huge, well maintained yard. Inside we found two charming female teenage baristas. My coffee mocha was delicious as was the pastry. My wife enjoyed hers also.My only complaint is that the two food items on the menu were sold out and it was noon.

Stopped off here on my way through after getting coffee from my hotel that was less than satisfactory.I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! This little gem is fantastic. Very cute atmosphere inside and out. Delicious coffee and a scrumptious pastry. The barista was very kind. I wish I had had the time to sit and leisurely consume my latte and then get a second one. As far as I can tell it is really the only thing in Watrous, but is worth the brief detour from the interstate.
