Sometimes it can be difficult finding honest tradesman in this town. We were opening a new business in town and needed a real plumber for tenant improvments on our new space. The project was fairly substantial including saw cutting slab, new sinks, bathrooms, floor drains...etc. These guys are great! On time, on budget, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Walk On Water Plumbing

Mike Alvarado was referred to me by a co-worker on short notice. Big mistake. Hard to book this guy, then he doesn't return calls/texts in due time and he shows up late all 3 times I booked him (including an easy warranty company situation-he GUARANTEED he would show up NO LATER than 7:30 but didn't show up until 7:45 and caused me to be late for a 9 am appt.) How does it work in baseball? All yeah, 3 strikes and you are out. Completely unprofessional. And that doesn't even take into account the work. I paid him to fix a water heater in my tenant's apt. He finally showed up and said it was fixed on a Wednesday but my Sunday the fix wasn't working and my tenant had no hot water again and was angry with me (instead of Mike) and after calling him immediately he still didn't show up until the following Thursday then he had the gall to state it was not his error but my tenant's fault AND then he double bills me. When I tried to work out a settlement with him over the phone, he got irate and stated he is putting a "lean" on my house. I had to correct him and state the right term is a "lien". Unreal.

Run, run away now!He will SCAM you out of your money and will not do the work that he is paid to do. He will keep pushing you off and will put other jobs in front of you.He will act like he is the best contractor you will ever hire, but he is far from it. He has no understanding of your frustrations when he delays the work and deadlines. He shames his customers when he is the one in the wrong. When he should be ashamed of naming his company "Walk on Water Plumbing and Maintenance." My wife and I hired Mike Apodaca to do some demo work and sheetrock in our house. We paid Mike Apodaca $1,000 on 3/8/24. We are disputing the $1,000 because the work was not completed. We are requesting an $800 refund as Mike only did 2.5 hours of work and it took him 47 days to get someone else to do the demo he was hired to do.Mike is rude, manipulative, and always prolongs every tasks and missed every deadline he set with us. He has no compassion whatsoever. He plays the victim and uses his faith to build relationships, but this man is not who he claims to be. He refuses to respond to our text or emails regarding a refund for the work he did not complete. Do not trust him and do not hire him. He will take your money and run. And then claim that he was more than fair.

The jobs were done professionally and thoroughly. I was told up front how much he charged per hour and did a walk through after the repairs.
