Vinyl Consumption Record Shop

Not the biggest in the city but in my opinion, it's the best. They have a fantastic selection of new and used vinyl at great prices. I've bought dozens of albums from them and every one of them has been great quality. There are always new albums and items coming in and they do a great job on their Instagram of showing what's just hit the shelves. They also carry tapes, cds, vhs, and other music and movie related items. Stop in weekly and spend a bunch of money like I do. Pick up one of their shirts while you're at it.

If you have been bin diving in vinyl stores you know a good one from a ridiculous one. This place has zero selection. All bargain bin stuff and asking collector prices. There was a 67 reprinted no name jazz record from a non-famous label, nobody known at all, and the price was $68. I should have taken pics. Abusive BS. I went in thinking I would buy $300 or more of records after hearing about this place. I left empty handed. The prices are insulting. There were Target 140g "new" records asking $47 when I can buy the exact same record, at Target, for $20!!! Avoid this place like AIDS. Why is it that when a chump watches a YT video about vinyl being popular again that all of a sudden grandmas Vivaldi's Four Seasons suddenly becomes a $700 collectors piece? It isn't! CHUMP.

This place is a record lovers oasis in the desert. Great selection in lots of different genres. There is always new and different stuff in the new arrivals bin whenever I go in.

This store is off the beaten track but it is well worth finding it. Biggest selection of records, cassettes, and memorabilia from a massive selection of artists through decades. I found two records I'd been searching for for a few years. I'm sure the owner can find anything you want so connect with him. He was there and knew so much about every record. I just moved to Albuquerque. Great find and I'll be back.

Great Record Booth in Albuquerque! It is in a nice little antique mall... small amount of vinyl but amazing selection. Great fair pricing! I'm from Denver and I'll be back!

Vinyl Consumption is awesome! They always have a good, and interesting selection. Their records are in great shape and reasonably priced. Plus, they helped me get my hands on a record they had when I couldn't get into the shop right away- and they were great about it. Highly recommend, and I can't wait to see what they get in next!
