Villas del Cielo Apartments

I was late with my rent and the fee is two hundred dollars but was billed for $500. My apartment is run down and not worth what I am paying as my rent keeps going up. Probably my last month here! I would advise you not to stay here!

They take your money for application with no intent of renting to you. They keep lying about having an apartment ready.

What a garbage community. All of the "upgrades" are cosmetic. Heat barely works. The community is "gated" but the gates never work. Cars are broken into all the time. Drug dealers are rampant. Homeless people dig through the trash every night and steal from balconies. The staff, especially Rebecca, are nice, but most of the time it feels like they just tell you what you want to hear and then take no action. Gunshots are heard on a weekly basis in the neighborhood. Bullet casings can be found on the sidewalks. Just pitiful. The worst community in Albuquerque. Do not move here. In fact, just buy a house. You'd be better off. The apartment complexes in this city are all the same, in my experience. I'm moving to Florida.Btw, the only good review on here is written by their awful manager Nicollet. She is known for her excuses. Doesn't care about the residents or the community. She's just the worst.

Watch where you park! This place needs to properly paint the parking areas before towing vehicles......... the towing company they use are pond scum. $155 later....

I have been here with my children for 2 months. Yes there was some work that needed to be done when we moved in , but every work order has been completed in a timely manner. Sure the buildings are older but I couldn't rent a house this big for the price they are charging. I haven't heard one car alarm go off nor have I had any issue with rude neighbors or management! Angela, Becky, and Nicole have been helpful and very polite! we love it here!

I have lived in these apartments for seven years now and this last year has been nothing but a nightmare. I have been overcharged and now I have been denied my $300 referral because it wasn't put on the application. They even knew his name and came up with some lame excuse. I am locked into my lease but I would say, "buyer beware!"

The managers Nichole, and Monica are absolutely ridiculous they won't fix the washer dryer unit. They cut a square into the bathroom wall to fix the plumbing and still haven't fixed it. Our faucet in the tub leaks all the time. It took them a year to fix the dishwasher and they didn't screw it in to the cabinet right. There's a gap in our front door that lets in air. Our back sliding door has to be shut from the back and has to be shut pretty hard. When we moved in during the pandemic, it was very dirty and I mean dirty. The carpets were hard crusty and gross. The stove was gross had to be wiped down. We can't put nothing up on the walls. Our cabinets are broken on the inside in the kitchen. They like to harass their tenants by saying if they don't let them in at any given time they will give you a seven day evictions notice. You can't put up lights you can't have anything on your porch or you will be evicted and find most of the buildings here have bugs (two different types of cockroaches) and mice. The gardening crew gets on the porches and move stuff around and they don't pay attention to your thing. They say they're going to come and they don't show up. The worst place to ever move into. I would and will never recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm leaving because my vehicle has been broken into multiple times. Management says the gates are being worked on, not true. When you move in nobody mentions a gate code because you will never need a gate code. I have talked to the front desk about my vehicle being broken into and they say there is a security guard on duty at night. I get off work around 9-10 at night and I have spotted the security only a couple of times and always sitting in the same spot, right in front of the office, he's not there for the residents, he's only there to make sure the office isn't broken into.

Terrible place to live!!! They have gates all around the community but REFUSE to keep them shut; I have had my Cadillac converters cut out from under my truck, my boyfriends truck was stolen, multiple car break ins when I confronted the office about there gates being open and my vehicles being messed with they told me there's nothing they can do and it's non of their concern. I have to call 5-6 times just to get a hold of someone and when I walk to the office no one is hardly in there. They pass out flyers without all of the information on it so that they can charge you fees later on. Terrible business and a terrible place to live!!! Definitely not worth the excessive amount they charge a month. The office does not hold on to packages almost all of the things I have ordered that have been dropped off at my door has been stolen. The list goes on and on!!! Only lived here a year. I wish I can give 0 or negative stars this place really sucks.

I lived here when it was called "Wellington Place". There are definitely some pros and cons to living here, take as you please... Pro's:1) Nicole (the manager) is absolutely the best! She tries to be as accommodating as possible and is very nice. I still talk to her!2) Maintainance workers are pretty efficient and get the job done quickly. 3) Affordable rent 4) Close to grocery store, mall, coffee shops, etcCons:1) The area is getting worse and less safe each day. Even though it's "gated", I wouldn't recommend going outside at night by yourself.2) Very old building, old appliances, concrete walls (can't hang anything on the walls lol)
