Village Cafe

This place is an absolute gem! Normally when we are up this way, it's outside of their operating hours but we got lucky enough today to catch them in the morning on a day they are open. The food is great and cooked from scratch. It's a small operation and retains that small town charm and hospitality. The portions are large and cost is very modest. They also have some amazing espresso/coffee. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping in for some delicious food!

We got the Alabama Caviar, 2 eggs breakfast & the corn beef hash breakfast!! Everyone amazing!! I'm extremely surprised to have found such an amazing place in the middle of nowhere! It's definitely worth the wait if your searching for a place to eat in the middle of nowhere!

Delicious meal! I had the Old Buddy and all the food was perfection, from the flavors to how the bacon was cooked not too soft and not too crispy. The waitress was attentive and kind when I realized my wallet was in the car. Super happy with the entire experience.

So good. Excellent coleslaw, and I haven't had good coleslaw since I left Ohio. Stuffed peppers were delicious. The slice of bread that came with it was astonishingly good. Honestly I wish I was in this area more often as the breakfast stuff look great too!

Went there Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm June 25 and they were closed. Just simply closed. No notice on the door as to why they were closed or if they plan to reopen ever again.

It is amazing that out little town has this wonderful restaurant! Everything I've had there has been delicious and Albina is always so kind and so welcoming. If you haven't tried it yet, please do. I know you'll go back again and again.

Very good small town cafe. It is a mom and pop restaurant and have very good food. Highly recommend.

Amazing breakfast! Hope to visit again! Highly recommend it. Quaint downtown area. Everyone enjoyed it. Well priced and portions where huge!!
