Vfw Post 5890

I can't really give this VFW any stars. If I Had known that this place had such an extreme problem with smoking, I would have never signed up for a lifetime membership. I have tried to go there for lunch, could'nt even get past the front door. The placed reaked so bad. Can't even go in for a beer either. Wouldn't mind hanging out for a little conversation with fellow VFW members, but unfortunately I can't get past the reaking odor of tabacco. Had a conversation with one of the wives, of one of the people in charge. And she said have I been in sense they repaired the A/C unit? I thought I would try and check it out. There was no change or difference than before. It's sad that only 17percent of the people out there, make such a controling difference for all of us. GF1

I joined the VFW late last year. I've been treated excellent and enjoy hanging out with my fellow veterans! The drink prices are great and I thoroughly enjoy playing the Golden Tee game they have.

A great VFW Post run by great veterans and it has a welcoming clientele. Post 5890 is into providing support to the local community and to our local veterans. Stop by and ask about our support and how we contribute.If you are extreme anti-smoking individual, sorry you need to go elsewhere. All events that are open to the public are no smoking events. The events include the monthly breakfast, holiday open houses, children's parties, etc.
