Van Cleave Place

Manager steals homes from elderly and sales to her family, harrasses tenants and bullies them, and threatened to push them out, then terminates lease to own buyers for no reason, allowed a family member threaten a tenant in front of her and did nothing about it, stating she was off duty, Discriminates against white people and is moving in Mexicans. Lived here over 11 years and never had any problems till she took over. So if you're looking for a new place to live this is not a place to move your trailer or to buy one of there homes they are selling there !!!

I would give Van Cleave Place zero stars if it were an option. I consider the management to be basically dishonest. I recently restored my ownership in a manufactured home located in the Park via foreclosure. The Park took the former tenant to court to collect past due lot rental and utility charges. The judge only awarded the past due rent payments but not the utility charges. Van Cleave Place is holding me accountable for two months of utility charges for a period of time when I did not own the home and a full month's rental although I will only be the owner for a partial month. They have refused to consider applications of prospective buyers for my home until the past due charges (when I was not an owner) are paid by certified check. They even had the audacity to demand late fees for payments owed by the former tenant. They are demanding that I reapply for a space rental, $35 application fee and a $430.00 security deposit, even though they are aware that the property will change ownership this month. The last time I placed a deposit with Van Cleave it took me three months to have my deposit refunded. Stay away...far away if there is another option to place your manufactured home.
