Horrible customer service. I would start by saying don't put on your website that you accept passport application walk-ins from 1 to 3 when you don't. Don't make a person wait in line for 30 minutes then tell them rudely no way even though the next appointment didn't show up. I will be using the UNM bookstore from now on. They were wonderful in comparison.

I dread going to Post Office, but the last few times I've gone, it's been quick and easy! They are so helpful and patient at this location and will help you find the best deal for you! Its almost always cheaper to do priority mail in the box that they provide. I was shipping to Alaska and it was $13 cheaper to use their box. I will be returning to the Haynes location soon!!

Pretty standard US Post Office layout. Lots of post office boxes, all your shipping and packing needs, etc. But the staff here is really nice, and very helpful. Lines can be a little long at busy times, so plan your visit. Better yet, print the postage at home and then just drop off your package.Parking is a bit limited.

This is the post office across the street from my house, and as an avid letter writer with several pen pals, I am in here ALL. THE. TIME. They always have patience and answers for my many postage questions ("How much does it cost to send a non-machinable letter to Argentina?", "Where can I find the Robert Panara Deaf Education stamps?", "Do I have to include 'China' in the address of a letter to Hong Kong?") To top it all off, this is where Kelly, my mail carrier, is based. Kelly is amazing. She goes WAY above and beyond. I'm going to paste in a story of a mail SNAFU that happened to me about a year ago. If you don't want to read a long explanation of why Kelly is amazing, feel free to stop now and just know this post office is a damn good one. Okay buckle up because this is a rollercoaster of a story:I spent the last two weeks hand-addressing (in calligraphy) 80 wedding invitations. They were beautiful. This morning I put them in the mailbox before I went to work - I was so excited to finally get them out to my family and friends. I even put in a card with a small gift for my mail carrier, thanking them for managing my invitations. When I got home, I found a note in my mailbox from my mail carrier (an amazing woman named Kelly), explaining that she had found my mailbox open and empty. Later on her route, she had found some of my invitations, a few open and wet on another street in our neighborhood. She left her phone number and told me to call her when I got home. I was so freaked out - clearly my invites had been stolen. When I called, I was in a bit of a state, crying because of how much work I put into hand lettering all the envelopes and thinking that many would be lost. Even though she was off for the day, she went back to her post office to pick up what she had managed to find and bring them over to me. They were ALL THERE! I have to re-address a few, but they were there! It turns out that another kind soul (a nice man named Martin) found them stacked on top of a big group of mailboxes near his home a few streets away from ours. He collected the ones that had blown away and put rocks on top. Then he explained what had happened to Kelly the mail carrier who related it to us. I can't believe the crazy rollercoaster of emotions I've been on since I got home from work today. I was so unbelievably angry that some cruel person would steal 80 wedding invitations just to look for money. Then I was relieved and amazed at the kindness of my neighbors (Kelly lives nearby too). Faith in humanity restored! Also, from now on, I will take important things to the post office when I need to send them.

Went to the Branch Post office in the NE Heights three times during the Christmas Season. First time the sign on the door stated. "Out of Holiday stamps. A few days later I went back and the sign has changed to "Out of Stamps " that's like a pizza place running out of Pizza. The third time I went there I was sending out a small package for $9.80 cents. I gave the clerk a $20.00. She tells me " We don't have any change ". We need to do better.

The line is usually 4 deep with two counters open everytime I have gone to the post office. Overall itms not a bad post office as post offices go. The lady at the counter was talking about how she does her own hair. Some colorful people are usually in line. Another line opened up when a couple more customers added themselves to the growing line. That was nice. I should get with the times and do everything online but I'm still stuck in the past. Soon...maybe. I still like the face to face experience.

Absolutely useless. Showed up 20 mins early to a passport appointment to make sure I had everything for the appointment. Waited 20 minutes for my appointment then was informed that I needed cash, check, or money order. When I asked if I could go get money as I only had a card I was told "well we have appointments every 15 mins I don't know if the next one will show up." Would have been so nice to have been told that when I showed up 20 mins early. Just useless and lazy staff.

Facility is typical of the postal service, postal agents are knowledgeable and attentive. This location can get busy, however it is centrally located in the heights.

holy hell I met one of the most rudest people ever. at first I was good. I thought maybe she's having a bad day, I don't know her life. I ended up calling because my sister told me they charge less than what I paid for my passports. so I called and she told me a different price, lower than what I paid. So I had told them about it, and she was still rude asf. I absolutely hate her. I have never hated someone in my life. All three of my family heard her say the price. She was so rude. I asked how I could get the money back, and she told me to call a place and didn't even give me the number, nor the website didn't even finish it. Hung up on me too with an attitude. Fire her please. Rude as hell. Please find another place if you're looking for a passport, and you see a girl or i don't even know what the fuck that was but it's real rude, get it someplace else.

I wish I could give no stars, they are very rude and racist, they were treating my parents very disrespectfully because they have a Spanish accent, acted like they didn't know how to help them and couldn't give us any information what so ever and canceled our appointment.
