Nice atmosphere. Easy parking. Seating for 44 customers. I ordered The Starter consisting of onions, mustard and ketchup. Very tasty, but a tad expensive. Still, I enjoyed it. Hot dog has a nice smoky taste but not over whelming. I'll be back to review more selections someday.

Today was the U date day. We tried Urban hot dog. I ordered the Bahn Mi hot dog and the small beet salad. My husband ordered the Mac and cheese sliders. We shared the rosemary garlic fries. The food came out hot and fast. My hot dog tasted amazing with all the pickled vegetables. The beet salad was super fresh tasting. The Mac and cheese sliders were super filling. We will definetly be back.

Let's call this one, a place where vegans and carnivores can find a common ground. My oldest daughter is vegetarian. I am not. Trying to find a place we can both enjoy is sometimes a little bit of a challenge. So when she suggested we try urban hot talk, I was a little taken back, thinking you might have a last minute audible when she finds out, they don't have any vegan dishes. I was wrong! She had the plant-based brat. I had the Le blue hotdog with a side of barbecue sliders. They were both delicious and relatively affordable. Although, I could have enjoyed the sliders as a standalone meal. No, in full disclosure, I don't really know the difference between vegan or vegetarian. I can tell you that my oldest daughter has a pretty good eye for those things, and gave urban Hotdog a thumbs up... And so do I.

Friday nite, want something we wont have to spend eternity waiting for a table. Plus in the mood for a hot dog. So here we are. It's been awhile and there's been a few changes. Added booths, named hats & shirts plus a new menu board. Like I said it's been awhile. Instead of the usual Chicago dog. Today's fare was a Frito pie dog & Tijuana dog. The Frito pie dog was different. Just enough Fritos to make it crunchy, a little ground meat, onions, fresh jalapeños and covered in cheese. Yes it was as good as it sounds. The Tijuana dog came bacon wrapped, covered with pico de gallo, avocado, grilled onion and topped with chipotle mayo. It had great flavor. Nice to step out of the comfort zone on occasion.

They always have great dogs. Always. They have great beer options for the conasiuer to wash down the epically prepared hotdogs. From Vietnam to the southeastern U.S. is represented in transforming he humble beuf frank into a culinary event for the taste buds on your tongue. This time around, the bathroom wasn't so pleasant and it smells like mold. The cleaning materials next to the toilet were very odd for a such a cool restaurant. The tables were dirty as well, not the most welcoming environment to eat their wonderful food.

The food was pretty good. We got the Mac and cheese both with and without the hot Cheetos. We also got the mini corn dog bites and the sliders. They definitely give you a lot of food. The workers are friendly and helpful.

I stopped by Urban Hotdog because I was in the area and I didn't have time to go back home for a proper meal. Once I saw Urban Hotdog around the area, I remembered that I had bookmarked the place and always wanted to try it out...but just was never the right time since it is a bit out of my way. This was the time to try!I stopped by and was impressed with the wide and varied selection of hotdogs (and some snacks that they offer). The staff was kind and helpful...allowing an indecisive me to read through their large dogs menu and picked what I wanted. I settled for an elote dog and was really happy with my choice! It was refreshing and I didn't feel so sluggish after eating potentially oily and processed meats like I'd have expected from eating junk food at all (it had been more than a year since I last had hotdogs!!).Overall, I really liked the hotdog. The place had a good, casual vibe. The dog is a bit small for the price...but given good service, a great selection of things to eat and tasty food..I'm a fan! I would love to stop by here again!
