Uptown Pawn

Can't speak to their pawn services, but they're a reliable and efficient FFL for transfers. Some issues I've noted is they've raised their prices to $25 + tax (from $15 - and I'd not seen notice anywhere) and that a friend and I came by during business hours to do a transfer only to find the place locked up. No biggie. They're efficient, and they do have quite a stock of 2A items.

I had a few items that were quite valuable. The guy there smugly checked them out and said "Pass." They were nicer than the ones in their display case. Their loss.

Coming off of Menaul this place was a bit tough to spot immediately because it's angle the sign is facing. If you turn into the middle area where the sign listing all the shops is at your actually behind it. The best way to it is to turn in the entry just before the DK convenient store. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They had a small selection of items compared to other pawn shops I've been to. They do carry big brand names. They buy name products and sell them at a reasonable rate. I usually don't go to pawn shops but figured I was in the area so I'd take a look see what they had. I was a bit surprised to see a SNES system in their inventory along with games. That was cool. Check them out if your in the area.

So I came all the way from Roswell to pawn my PS4,PS4 pro,PS4 slim,Peavey Amp,And a RCA Projector, and they wherent interested in any of my stuff and the People running the shop took super super long like I stayed there for a good hour and a half... I do not recommend coming here (especially if you're pawning electronics)

Such HORRIBLE customer service!!! It seems like they think they can turn away any business just because they do more volume than the other "little" guys in ABQ.... PLEASE support the little guys!!!The awful, insecure manager (or something) at the shop today was terribly rude and disrespectful. He treated me like some trashy ex-wife, despite the fact that my husband had called less than TEN MINUTES before I arrived to let them know I would be picking up his computer. The stupid little manager even had the audacity to relate a story about SOME OTHER person who did something shady, as though he was suggesting I was doing the same - when I pointed out the very obvious difference between the two scenarios, he REFUSED to give me my husband's computer - AFTER they took the money. He got all indignant and gave it back to me, actually throwing some of it on the floor like a child.Do yourself (and someone else who really tries hard to provide good service) a big favor and go to ANY other pawn shop in Albuquerque!

Great shop with kind and friendly staff. Best prices on items and great selection of 2a items. Always kind and friendly. Staff was great and kind to our kids. We all usually find a great item here. Thank you uptown pawn and awesome staff.
