Avoid at all costs! If you have any other option, take it.These doctors care nothing about their patients wishes, pocketbooks or time. They are trying to convince me to have surgery I don't want that has a low chance of success and refuse to do definative treatment which is my choice. But it will require even more surgery thus insuring that they will make more money. They require office visits with long waits and copays for issues that can be handled onver the phone. And keep making demands I jump through even more hoops at increased cost and delay. UNMH and clinics need to learn:Time, including their patients time, is valuable.Medicine is now a big business, patients are customers, and customer service is critical.Lawsuits occur from angry people.I guess med schools think these are unimportant lessons to learn. I hope I don't suffer adverse consequences from these delays.

The emergency department and pediatric emergency department were amazing! I was involved in a collision with a semi. Paramedics brought me here and I am so happy they did. I had a team of doctors waiting for me as soon as I got there. CT and X-rays were taken immediately. No waiting. I also had some amazing nurses! I lost my purse in the wreck, so some of the Peds nurses scrapped together food, a cab ride, and money to help us out. I've never seen more kindness and compassion in a hospital!
