ultiMED Urgent Care

Wonderful urgent care. They took such good care of me. DR. JERIANNE discovered a med allergy and treated that along with my shingles. She took the time to explain why I felt bad. She helped me so much and the staff was so nice and caring. Short wait time also.

From my experience the receptionist today was horrible. Had attitude once I walked in. No smile no friendly hello how may I help you! The so called "supervisor" was no help either! Coming from a medical assistant myself you're the face of the organization and should be professional, nice and compassionate toward patients. This place should not even get one star. I would not recommend this place. Hope whoever works here reads this! Words for improvement? Sure. Replace with nice compassionate workers who want to actually help, and hope they have some sense!

I went here because I knew they could see me quickly, and their website said they did x-rays however, I ended up paying $250 (not even my copay) to be treated like an inconvenience and sent elsewhere for x-rays. I was never referred to a specialist, instead was given vague instructions to come back to them if still in pain. The nurse practioner that I have seen twice now is rude and snarky, the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. I will never go here again. I ended up at PresNow a couple days later and got way better care, on-site imaging, and referrals to specialists that I needed.

Sloppy, unprofessional, negligent.Why didn't I read the dismissive reviews before using this facility! In all honesty the facility should remove the word urgent from its name. Negligent as instructions for immediate emergency care were not written, only spoken. Poor, unprofessional service. Very sloppy.Sloppy and unprofessional in calling in script. Pharmacy had NO record of receiving script. Follow up call to UlitMed necessary to have script come through.You would think a positive covid test and diagnosis would add a sense of urgency. Au contraire! Languished in the examination room for an hour waiting for the results of a 20 minute test.Beware. Look at the reviews. The one star ones are spot on. Have to go back more than five years to see anyone above one star.Avoid at all costs!!!

I utilized this facility (Rio Rancho location) for the first time a few weeks ago instead of having to sit at the er because they advertise they have radiology. (I had been experiencing severe stomach pain for over a week so figured if I need an ultrasound they had the tools to assist me) That's not true at all. I went on a Sunday. Waited maybe 20 minutes to be seen. The staff are not friendly at all. They seem irritated that your even there. The exam room feels cold and unwelcoming. I was seen by the nurse practitioner Jerry Ann, who comes in smelling like a cloud of smoke. She spent not even 5 minutes with me and insisted I had a virus and prescribed me Zofran. I knew what this med was used for as soon as she mentioned it because I worked in healthcare and was confused because I was not experiencing any symptoms to even be prescribed this med. And they expressed they don't have radiology on Sunday so I walked out of this facility very confused and frustrated that I wasted my time. I called a few days later (Tuesday to be exact) stating I was still in pain and wanted to see if I could have an ultrasound done to be sure we didn't miss something. They front desk told me they didn't have someone to perform an ultrasound at the facility once again. They had Jerry Ann call me back to which I expressed that I was still in pain and that I didn't think it was a virus. Keep in mind, I wasn't vomiting, no diarrhea, no fever, no nausea. I simply asked if I could have orders to get an ultrasound because my friend is a nurse and when I showed her the location of my pain she was afraid I had been experiencing kidney stones. Upon me expressing this to Jerry Ann she immediately got defensive, her tone was agitated and rude. She straight up told me to go to an er if I didn't trust her! Who does that?? So this is what I took away from this horrible experience, they obviously don't care about their patients wellbeing. Didn't offer to have me come in to be re-evaluated, didn't offer an ultrasound. Just pushed me into the hands of another facility\ provider. Please save your time and money. I predict this facility won't be open much longer.

I couldn't hear in one of my ears, I was told about another urgent care place that charged half of what UltiMED was going to charge but I read their reviews on google and made the decision to check out UltiMED based upon when I called, the person answering was kind, upfront about cost and wait time. When I arrived there was but one other person waiting to be seen and it was very clean. Filled out paperwork and than was taken back within 5 mins, Dr's assistant check vitals told them what I was experiencing with ear. The Doctor came in looked at my ear and addressed the resolution, was completely taken care of within less than hour. I walked out feeling like a million dollars, no hesitation in ever going here for emergency circumstances for all the reasons such as honesty, cleanliness, empathy from all staff and wait time. Thank you UltiMED

The lady at the front is a total B$!;&. Rude, no manners and super snotty attitude. Didn't see the doctor because I left, I won't be treated that way by a receptionist.

Tiffany was the least compassionate person I have ever met in a medical facility. Everyone in a medical care facility should show compassion , patience and professionalism. If you can't do that, you are in the wrong field. Dealing with a sick elderly parent is very difficult and stressful. Walking into a medical facility and feeling as if you're not welcomed or your needs are not important causes so much stress and anxiety. Tiffany your behavior was horrible and your attitude was disrespectful. I hope you are never made to feel as you made my mother and I feel today. Do better

Martha at the front desk was rude and didn't care about the patients coming in. she was even rude to the delivery guy dropping off boxes for them. she was hateful and ignored some patients. she decided to get on the phone with I'm assuming her office manager to defend herself on how two patients walked out and the delivery guy. she straight up lied to whoever she was on the phone with. I observed the incidents myself. Martha has no business doing this job! people who come in are not feeling well obviously and don't need a mean rude person checking them in. I'll never go back!

Extremely rude receptionist, not friendly at all. Doctor was nice enough but not very engaged and just very quiet. I would recommend just making the trip into Albuquerque for better care. I was really bummed because it's the only urgent care in Bernalillo area.
