I have absolutely no issues stating that I'm not a fanboy, and aside from a deep obsession for the Spider-Man cartoons and Battlestar Galactica/Buck Rogers/Star Wars of my youth, I never really geeked out on superheroes or all the rest, so if this isn't you, this review isn't for you. If you're easily placated by an occasional foray into the realm of comics, role-playing games and whatever, I'm your huckleberry and I can state from three brief visits, this place scratches the itch. It's in a strip mall so of course you're not going to get the kind of extensive we-carry-bins-of-comics-going-back-to-The-Renaissance kind of selection, but from what I can ascertain the friendly, un-snobby owner offers a decent selection of goods. What I've really appreciated in this time of masked un-superheroes are the COVID-19 practices: Lots of sanitizing (I mean, crucial, yes?), customers and staff masked, contactless payments. Yesterday afternoon our kiddo decided she wanted to know more than her clueless dad, so she spent her allowance on a Spidey edition from Miles Morales, as recommended to her. She loves it. I admire her imagination.

Ahhhh, the good ol' days. When we were wild eyed and carefree...sitting on the curb with sticky fingers & cherry red stains on our lips from the popsicles we'd just consumed. The days when we'd ride our bikes from sunrise to sunset, torturing locusts by day and catching fireflys by night. The days when we'd build go carts and act out scenes from X-Men comics in the streets, training in "the danger room" (a.k.a. the swing set in the backyard, doing dive rolls through the swings, etc etc)...I was Rogue, by the way.I still get giddy when I walk into a comic book store...much has changed since "the good ol' days," and it's fascinating to see how it's all evolved. This store has a really nice set up for in store gaming, in fact, there were several gamers there rolling polygon dice, blurting out commands, moving 3-d game pieces....cool!Nice selection of heroclix, pokemon, board games, role playing games, collectibles, and yes, comics. I picked up a few for my kids. Happy to see this store doing well...

I've been here a number of times and the only reason I come back it because it is basically the only comic store on the west side. The staff is always rude and as another user summed it up, "it seems like if you're not a part of their clique, they don't have time to deal with you." The selection never seems on par with other comic shops in town and while we're on that note, there's not really a rhyme or reason with the way the books are displayed. All in all when you show up here it seems like you've just walked uninvited into a messy middle aged single man's back bedroom.

I dropped in here the other day when I was in the neighborhood for something else. I didn't even realize this cool little store was here! The Batman sign in the window caught my eye and I just had to check it out. I'm really glad I did! These guys have done a good thing here. The shop is spacious and well laid out. There are a wide array of games to choose from, with all the requisite titles and accessories. Mostly board games and comics, but with a reasonable selection of roleplaying games as well. What really caught me, however, was how nice it was inside. The furniture is nice, the layout is nice, the gaming spaces are awesome and the overall vibe was really cool. The couch and big screen TV really sealed it for me. These guys designed not just a game store but a cool place to hang out with like-minded geeks. If you like games of pretty much any kind, you should go check this place out!

They never seem to have a good selection of new comics which makes the drive here a wash. Fortunately, they have really nice owners and some gaming activities too. While it's not my first choice to buy comics and gifts, Twin Suns is definitely an option.

Can't support any local game store that scalps pokemon cards. Charging 40$ for a 16$msrp product is absurd.

I've played games at Twin Suns a few times, while the staff is alright they can be aloof which is off-putting. Their selection is alright but basically comparable to other stores. The reason I don't recommend this store is that they could work on the presentation of the store to make it more inclusive. There were a couple risqué pieces of art on the wall that make it hard to recommend to people not knowing if that's going to make them uncomfortable.

Wow, I was visiting Albuquerque NM from good ole California and wandered into the store after visiting the gun store a couple of doors down. The owner was friendly and asked me if I was looking for anything particular... I explained I was trying to complete a Marvel cover run from August 1968. He said he had some of the books possibly in back. Thor 155 X-men 47 amazing Spider-Man 63 and a Daredevil 43 they had them all. In good to very fine condition. 4.0- 7.5 all raw. So who knows but Wow. They also had a good selection of more blue chip keys.... I don't visit Albuquerque often but next time I do I'm going back.... I bought those a a few other books for approximately $200.

First time going into this store today. There was some good Inventory however the staff was extremely rude. I spent almost $100 and the guy that checked me out had the biggest attitude, I almost told him to forget it and walk out. That is no way to treat your customers, I'll never go back to this store.
