I have never gone into this nursery when they had ANYTHING I was looking for. They are always sold out! Not exaggerating! At least 4 times now! Save yourself an unnecessary trip and possible exposure to COVID. Just go to Lowe's garden center. They always have what Trees That Please doesn't. No, I am not pleased.

This is my favorite nursery hands down. We now live in Phoenix, but we drive there and get trees. I can trust the trees have been grown with care and consciousness. We have been buying trees from Trees that Please for over 15 years, or so. We visit our old homes and these trees are still thriving and doing well. They are not fast growers by any means, but they are long lasting and beautiful. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They even helped us pick out a cactus. We came from Phoenix to buy a cactus in Los Lunas. This is how much we believe in the plants from this nursery. I hate to waste money so we shop at Trees That Please.

I went in not knowing a thing about trees or landscaping. I obviously needed help. I didnt know it then but she sold me the most expensive, least practical trees for the area I lived. After 10 years they have yet to grow or thrive. The twig I bought at Walmart for $15 is what has thrived and makes the yard not the $300 poles from "Trees That Please". I was young and nieve and they took advantage to make a quick sale.

Hello, I'm writing a review to let you know what we experienced here, we bought a couple of trees and plants from here. (Trees that please)They recommended a guy that does their delivery and planting for them. So we had him deliver and plant our trees , on delivery day he brought his girlfriend to help unload the heavy trees which they dropped one on the asphalt and broke the root ball, Ian the delivery and planter guy said it should be ok , and for us to monitor it and let him know, because he would replace it at no charge since it was his fault since he dropped it and broke the rootball. it looked dead the day he planted it. It never did anything to get better. he ignored our messages and calls for several weeks then finally responded to us that there was nothing he could do, so we went to the business and spoke to the manager on duty which said the best she could do was sell us another one for half price. Keep in mind we paid full price for each tree, was charged for delivery fee which was about 7 miles from us. (We didn't have the correct vehicle to pick it up ourselves) And of course paid a planting fee.. so quite amount of money was paid for all this. (Which was over $2100.00) I feel this was quite unfair how this was handled, they should of replaced our tree at no cost, and collected the loss from Ian since he was the cause of killing this tree, I also would not recommend this kid in the future. He is not professional and definitely did not keep his word on making this right. We purchased another one and we will have to pick it up and now plant ourselves. So the money we invested into making our yard look nice didn't go as well as we expected. Btw.. this is a new house built this year in April. As well as taking a loss on the money spent. I did email the company today on this. As I'm still very upset on this ordeal. We'll see if they respond to me. Regards,F. Vigil

Be very, very careful when buying trees from "Trees that Please. Their guarantees are only for 60 days. So, do not buy a tree from "Trees that Please" in the winter dormant time of the year. If what you buy doesn't blossom out in the spring "Trees that Please" will not guarantee them, like most nurseries that guarantee trees for a year. So, please be very careful in buying trees from "trees that please."

So freaking cute! They have a great assortment of stuff, and they clearly care a lot about their plants. Would highly recommend going if you're looking for a gift for someone, or a unique house plant that will wow your friends.

This place is amazing! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. I went to purchase a few things around Halloween and they had activities for kids and it looked like a great time. The employees are so smart and know about local plants and what conditions they need to grow in. You can't get that from a big box store. They are honest about what will work and what won't work. This place is the place!

By far the best tree nursery in Albuquerque area. I've bought ~20 trees from them over the years, mostly fruit trees but some shade trees as well. They were all high quality: all trees have thrived after transplanting into my yard. The staff (I believe I've normally been helped by a gray-haired man named Steve) are incredibly knowledgeable, answering questions about growth rate, root stock, messiness, etc. without batting an eye and always being super helpful. The place specializes in trees/fruit that actually grow in New Mexico, and some great fruit varieties! It's a bit more expensive than the big box stores, but cheaper than other local nurseries in Albuquerque. But I'm happy to pay more and drive a bit further for the great fruit varieties, New Mexico shade trees, the 100% transplant success rate, and the wonderful service. I should also mention that they nursery is very kiddo friendly. I have two young daughters that love to play with the chickens that roam around the place, and the staff are always happy to help them!
