Tree Doctor 911

I recently had Dallas from the tree dr911 come to my house to assess the issues with 28 trees on my property.To make a long story short, Dallas gave me a quote for almost 7,000 dollars. He stated the majority of the trees had bore beetle and needed to be treated for some type of fungus.. He never took a soil sample etc.. I had state forestry come out to my house for Free , its a government funded program which is available to residents of NM.Out of the 28 trees on my property that Dalas said was infested only ONE tree has bore beetle.No guarantee either John Formby from the state was very informative. He saved me thousands of dollars.I know I will never use treedoctor911 ever......Be careful when using treedoctor911. You might want to get a 2nd opinion. Sandy Palmento.

I was interested in them looking at several trees, which were struggling. They instead spent their time working up an estimate on every tree on the property.The estimate was more than $5000.00, for every tree. I suggested that we start with the original several trees, and never heard back from them.Glad they can afford to advertise regularly in the paper.

Read ads in newspaper and decided to give them a try since 3 trees needed attention. Prompt service to evaluate and then treat trees. HOWEVER it has now been 2 months since the expensive treatment to service the trees and there has been no follow-up to determine if the treatments have worked. Guess I'll know by next spring. Also, asked for a quote to prune a tree. The quote was outrageous! I could have all trees on my property done for what was quoted! I asked for consideration as a repeat customer, etc. and there was little done. My personal experience has been that this company is a rip-off and I would not recommend them!

Horrible. Way overpriced. Seems like a profitable bus model, but not for me.

I had an appointment for them to look at three trees. Made special effort to be home at the appointment time (4:00 p.m.) No one showed up or called by 5:30. Called and left a message asking what was going on. As of next day, no one has contacted me. I'm done. Very inconsiderate of my time to not show up for an appointment and not even contact me. My time is valuable.

I would highly recommend Steve Thomas and Tree Doctor 911! Last year I purchased my home. One of the reasons I purchased the house was it had a beautiful tree that was really the heart and soul of my property. The first time I saw it. It was right at the end of the summer and It was big and it was beautiful, coming out of winter I noticed the trees started slowly die when the leaves begin to come out I knew it was in big trouble. ,Look for other professionals who came out in told me the tree was dying and wanted to cut it down. One of my friends at work told me about Tree Doctor911 saving a tree in her neighborhood that everyone else they had called told them it was going to die. I set up an appointment and when Steve came out, he said "we can save your tree definitely and will give you 150 day written guarantee on the life of the tree or your money back." I had nothing to lose if they offered the moneyback guarantee and we saw they had been in business for many years.They gave the tree shots into the tree itself. My tree today is completely full of life with nice big shiny green leaves. You can't tell it was ever sick I get compliments regularly from people walking by. Much much thanks to Tree Doctor911.

Snake oil salesman. Shady people. Malpractice. Use someone else, don't believe their ads, the hype. They don't care about saving your trees. Do not allow them to bore holes in your trees with remedies and treatment. It is a scam. They took 2000$ of our hard earned dollars and killed our fruit trees immediately afte treatment. The trees literally fell down weeks later.

Don't. Just don't. The good "doctor" will prescribe expensive services without doing any tests to confirm his "diagnosis." We fell for his full page ad about dying trees in ABQ, but later an objective (unpaid) resource confirmed our developing suspicions -- our trees didn't really need expensive pest and disease treatments. They just needed better watering and fertilizing. Get a second and third opinion. Ask the State Forestry Service to check your trees. Just don't invite this company to surgically remove cash from your wallet.

Called them to evaluate two trees. One was (as we found out a couple of days later, when we hired a real tree expert) already doomed by bark beetle. TreeDoctor911 told us it wasn't bark beetle, and charged $850 for worthless injections. Second tree (again, as we found out a few days later) had tip moth, basically just a cosmetic problem. Charged another $850 for equally worthless injections. Not accredited by BBB, so no use complaining to them.

My bid from Tree Doctor 911 for my trees on my 1/2 acre urban plot was $4500. What? He offered a 10% discount. I asked what was used in their injection process as I have organic gardens and lots of bees and birds and do not use pesticides or herbicides. He would't tell me what he used, it was 'proprietary' but don't worry , two PhD's worked on their remedies. The "bee friendly" is claimed, also that they never spray pesticides. HOWEVER. You have to sign a statement saying you will destroy any and all fruit produced by treated trees for a one-year period!!! So, the poisons are not sprayed but they are inside the tree and will be present in the fruit which will be eaten by birds; and what about fruit bloom pollination by bees prior to fruiting? NO THANK YOU.
