We have been wanting to come here for awhile now and finally did today! The place was hopping busy and staff was taking care with Patience! The food is incredible! I had the Vegan Reuben sandwich which rival the best "real" Reuben sandwich I have had! The place has tons of vegan options for all of you vegan. It's a nice drive to Cedar Crest as well!! This place is amazing!!

Cold New Years Day, long motorcycle ride need food and pickings are slim - most places are closed. But these guys are open and warm inside. Not too busy - go figure. Ordering was straight forward. A sole employee brought menus, got our drinks and took our order. 12" Supreme Pizza and Meat Ball Sandwich with Fries. The pizza came out hot, loaded with toppings. The crust was crisp, not soggy. Especially considering some of the toppings. The Sandwich was excellent, great flavor and plenty of cheese and sauce. Fries were great and tasty from unpeeled potatoes. Plenty of food so we left both sated and warmed up for the rest of our trip. We passed on the tie-dyed shirts & dessert. But we'll be back.

My first visit to this establishment. In the time I have lived in Albuquerque (little over 3 years) I have not done much up Tijeras and Cedar Crest Way. They featured Irish music tonight, so I ventured up and was pleased by 1. The scenic location 2. The food 3. The music. Staff greeted me warmly as I entered and were attentive during my time there. The decor is casual and comfortable. Although listed as pizza restaurant, the menu includes many other items as well. The beer and wine list looks good; I stuck with soda on this trip. I went with the vegan meatball sub. It included vegan cheese and came with side of fries. I do a lot of vegan cooking at home; ended up being very impressed with the vegan meatballs. Nice texture, good herbs and spices. Prices are on the low side! The music was very pleasant and importantly to me, was done at a subdued volume. I'll be back!

Pretty decent place for pizza with real down to earth atmosphere and good service. Beware the Greek Salad. It might give you diarrhea... might be the spice rich salad dressing!

Okay Yelpers, it's time to update my 3 star review to a 4. This should be a 4.4 star, but Yelp isn't that granular. A year ago this local pizza spot was a solid 3, but after a year, securely out of the pandemic, some new hires, and a menu refresh... I'm happy to say Trail Rider has come back to life. The service is prompt, the food is consistently delicious and cooked well. We're local fans that will keep coming back for more.

So far I was greeted by the best staff. I have to truly appreciate great customer service! This staff welcomes you home upon walking in. Which I love is done with a smile and honesty. The staff has been going nonstop cleaning and prepping. It's nice to see them taking pride in their work place. Now what good would it if their food wasn't good. Well I'm here to tell you that this place is a hidden gem!! I tried them back in the nineties when they were in a trailer by Molly's. I knew they were at their new location, not so new 5 years., just never stopped. What an absolute delight to find a delicious pizza. We chose the John Boy. And let me say Good Night John Boy and thank you for the sweet dreams! We have been twice in a week! Tried two different items and it's all been great.

A mahhhvelous pizzaaa piiiie- and the strombolis are epic! Quality ingredients too....oh, and plenty of gluten free and vegan options for those who need that! It takes a little time to pump out da goods, appx. 30 minutes +/- on an average day, possibly more if it's super busy or during holidays/popular weekends, so be patient and make sure you go when you can afford the time to sit and chill.
