Our first meal in NM!The service and the food was on point! The tomato salsa was so good! Service is great!The prickly pear margaritas were perfect! Would order them again!Green chile cheese dip was so delicious! It had chunks of veggies, plenty of chile and it was perfect for dipping the corn chips!We shared the sinoloan shrimp which was great with corn tortillas. Every bite was perfectly seasoned! The only thing that was odd to me was the French fries - should have asked out we could have beans instead.Would come back again!

I had high hopes for this Salvadoran restaurant when a friend invited us to join her there because of the first 5 star review. I thought, "GREAT! A new & delicious restaurant!"We made a reservation, but it's pretty new (opened in May, I was told), so there was no one there when we arrived at 6:30pmWe had read about the fish tacos, so we ordered 2 of those & a chicken quesadilla,chips & salsa, guacamole & 3 margaritas (one of each flavor offered...mango, lime & strawberry.)Our server was sweet & friendly and kept our water glasses full. We started off with the margaritas, which were super sweet & may have been from a mix... didn't taste "fresh". :(Next was chips & guacamole. The chips seemed to be homemade.. thick & crispy. The guac was a bit bland... needs LOTS more onion, tomatoes & flavors. Was MOSTLY just smashed avocados. Not bad, but not a "hit"...Next came the chips & salsa. More of the delicious chips were great vehicles to get LOTS of salsa into my mouth!**THE SALSA!** Not very spicy & the BEST SALSA I'VE HAD FOR A LONG TIME! I literally DRANK what was left after the chips were done! We had two bowls of it! This was the height of the meal. This got an extra star from me... I would buy jars of it! The fish tacos & quesadilla were a bit bland & dry... they didn't even come with salsa on them. There was a "sauce"served in a small ram, but it was SO SUPER SPICY that none of us could eat it! I will say that the servings were BIG. Two of us could EASILY have shared the fish tacos (4 per dish) ... in fact, we took 4 home, which we ate with the GOOD salsa at home. (I asked that they PLEASE send some salsa home with me instead of the Chernobyl sauce that came with it.) We didn't order dessert. If I go back for the chips & salsa , I'll ask for THAT salsa with any dish I order.Before tip, it was about $100 for the 3 of us.

Clean, great service, yummy drinks and delicious food. Went for lunch on a Sunday. Everything was fresh and tasty. Look forward to coming back.

Three of us went to Torogoz tonight for the first time. The food and service were both lovely. We shared a variety of pupusas (a special every Wednesday), plantains, and Bistec Ranchero. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge. What was sad was that this lovely place was practically empty. It's worth a visit and I look forward to returning.

Near Santa Fe Playhouse. Attractive interior and very friendly. Small is beautiful. Basic foods from Mexico and El Salvador. The salvadorian torta was a huge hero type sandwich, tasty and clearly gourment. The green chili and cheese Chicken was quite good. Jalapeños and peppers galore. The mojitos were excellent. Large bottled beer selection including four local products. The highlight of the meal was the flan!

If you are looking for flavor, this is the spot. Absolutely delicious food. Asked for spicy tacos and got exactly that. Plantains were absolutely delicious. Tostadas were mind blowing. Portion sizes are big and filling. Highly recommend.

I'm going to be that guy that disagrees with all of the other reviews. First, I have to talk about the ceviche. There are so many reviews where people say it was the best ceviche they ever had. Honestly, I don't even think it was ceviche. Ceviche is "cooked" in some acid (such as lemon juice). This clearly was not. It wasn't gross, it just wasn't ceviche. If you're looking for ceviche, this isn't it. If you're looking for a bland shrimp tostada, then maybe. We also had the steak and shrimp and fajitas. They were average. While the steak was tender and flavorful, the shrimp were flavorless, the vegetables barely cooked and the overall dish just meh. I will say the service was great, friendly and attentive.

Had an amazing lunch of Ceviche tostada appetizer and an order of vegetarian tacos. The salsa they serve upon welcome (with chips) is the tastiest I've ever had. The service was great and the food was better. We split the appetizer and entrees and couldn't eat another bite. I would return if I could stay longer in Santa Fe.

The restaurant was a pit stop during our sight seeing. My son and I really enjoyed the food, service and the quaint little ambiance.Nayeen, a young man whose family owns the restaurant is super friendly, helpful with the menu and an absolute pleasure to speak with.We'll be back!

Very nice! Good food, nice atmosphere. We had the vegetarian options (somewhat limited) including fajitas and enchiladas, both of which were excellent. The portions were substantial. Service was friendly though a little bit slow (as would be expected) since they had a full house when we were there on a Friday evening. It's a block from the Santa Fe Playhouse and we had plenty of time to make it to the performance. We'll go there again!
