Tia's Cafe

You have to go out of your way to dine at Tia'S but it is well worth it. It reminds you of what Diners, Drive ins and Dives should be about: great food, friendly and kind service and a clean restaurant with nice patrons. Had a tortilla burger with a lot of fries and green chili sauce which was delicious. Applebees quesadilla burger should be this good. My wife had the stuffed sopapilla with ground beef and beans inside covered with cheese and green chili and had rice on the side. The waitress was asked whether to have the red, green or Xmas chili. She said she had tried the green that morning and that it was excellent. She was right. Asked for a Sopapilla and honey for dessert and it was delicious, not too greasy. Prices are very reasonable and much less than similar items at restaurants in Taos. Cute little interior and people who appreciate your business rather than just tolerating it like too many restaurants.

This place is a hidden gem off the beaten path. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and was promptly greeted. Service was super friendly. The Navajo taco was great and everything is made to order so very fresh. It is also very authentic. The showstopper was easily the cup of green chili I got. It's the best I've ever had and I've been craving more ever since. Perfectly cooked and flavored with garlic. This place is well worth taking a detour.

The food at Tia's Cafe is fresh and delicious. It is a great place to stop when visiting the Enchanted Circle or the Wild Rivers Park. They have really good salads and delicious green chili stew as well as many other yummy New Mexican and American dishes. The staff is very friendly and the food comes quickly.

The food was excellent. Service was very good, pleasant staff and nice laid back atmosphere.

The food was awesome - we had the stuffed sopapilla and tamales with xmas chili and both red and green were fantastic . Staff was friendly and welcome us in even though it was 5:40, 20 minutes before closing timing (yes 6:00 pm is closing.) Will have to go back fro breakfast next time we are around. Definitely worth making the time to stop. Northwest of Questa in Cero - not on the main road

Friendly place! When we walked in we said Good Morning. Everyone in the place responded in kind!Super nice staff!I had some delicious quevos rancheros. Wife had a veggie omelet. We'll be back.
