Incredible service!We used Thunderbird Realty when we purchased our house this summer and were extremely impressed with the above-and-beyond service that Melissa Benevegna provided us. Buying a house was more involved than we remembered, and Melissa was with us every single step of the way. She walked us through everything as a helpful and friendly guide, and also put us in contact with the highest quality home inspector, as well as roofers, and HVAC folks. Melissa was incredibly knowledgeable about the quality of the property and her assessment from the initial walk-through was spot-on. I would never skip a home inspection, but I will say that she was great at understanding what was and wasn't going to be an issue with the house. I can see where that would save potential home-buyers a lot of time when looking at multiple houses.Thunderbird is truly a company that cares about their clients, and making sure that they find a home that is a perfect fit for them. We could not have been happier with the service! Top notch!!

I have used Thunderbird Property Management since 2019 to manage my home in ABQ and have had nothing but exceptional service from day one with them. I am not a typical property investor as I relocated to ABQ from Las Vegas, NV in 2016 for a new job and sold my house in Vegas and bought a new home in ABQ thinking it would be my long term personal residence. Unfortunately, a few years later the company I worked for lost their contract with the State of NM (95% of their revenue) and I was forced to move out of state to find another similar role for a different company. I was reluctant to sell this home so soon after buying it and being burned already by selling my Vegas house only to have it double in value within a few years of selling it so I decided to pursue a property management company to help me with renting out this home until it made more sense to sell. Melissa was the person I originally worked with and she was truly wonderful and held my hand during every step knowing that I was nervous and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Subsequently, I was assigned to Jill as my property manager and she has been equally fantastic to work with over the last four years. She is extremely proactive in notifying me of any issues or repairs that need to be made. Also, they have their own staff that do maintenance requests as well as established relationships and preferred pricing terms with appliance, HVAC retailers et. that save owners a lot of money on labor/repairs and if parts are needed and when appliances, hot water heaters etc. need to eventually be replaced. They are also extremely responsive when tenants report any problems. Since this property started out as my personal residence I still feel a bit like it's my baby vs. a property purchased solely for investment purposes and I can't say enough about how reassured I feel that Jill and team are looking out for me and taking good care of my property while I am living thousands of miles away. I don't often write reviews for companies unless I am really blown away but I feel compelled to share my experience with Thunderbird since they have consistently gone above and beyond with their service and the value they provide and would enthusiastically recommend to any person in ABQ area seeking out a property management company.

So far I have been extremely happy with Melissa and Thunderbird Properties. We are a retired military family and live out of state. After a poor experience with another pm company in town, Melissa helped get our property back in shape and rented quickly even though it was December. She was very thorough in keeping me updated during the process and sending me pictures. She is all about helping you get the best value for your money on any updates on improvements that may need to be done. Highly recommend!

They straight up lied and said they would be willing to work with us despite a minor credit issue. They then collected over $160 in application fees before using that as the exact reason to deny us without any consideration. Don't get hustled into their application fee scam

Ohh! Look who showed up! So You are real! So it looks like you care more about your reputation than about your customers! You did not emailed me back. Didn't call back. Please proof if I am wrong. Your next comments about service are proofing that your management is bad. I canceled 1 request because your guys came and told that can not fix issue, so I fixed that myself, have better communication with them please. Another thing about swamp cooler, just informing others that it is not useful enough and who ever will rent this apartment will need to set alternative cooling. I understand that technicians can do, but I told several times - swamp cooler makes noise and I can not use it at night. Yes they came and checked it, so it works, but not properly. About roaches, again your bad communication with your team. I did inform Your office and You did sent the exterminator! See attached screenshot which you are not aware about! So now I do not have it. Comment was about how "good" was prepared house for new renters! This is your first response to me, so I see you choose the way to discuss issues on publicity instead of just email or call back. See attached unanswered email. I was always polite...Yes I am irritated! But it is not about payment or fee. I payed it and you can roll it and stick it up. I did ask your team if fee can be waived and it was yes or no question! It took whole month to say no. Thats the reason to be irritated. I called office every week and promised to get back with answer, and it never happened. Ask Maria if it is not true.

We live out of state, and our rental in ABQ had been chugging along untouched for 20 years. Our renter insisted that everything was fine and nothing needed fixing. We stuck our heads in the sand and continued to cash the monthly checks. When he moved out unexpectedly in the middle of last winter, we knew we had to make the trip to investigate. OMG. The guy hadn't cleaned anything inside or out for the entire term. The roof, carpeting, swamp coolers, kitchen and bath tile, water heater, etc. all needed replacing. Paint inside and out, landscaping...you get the idea. We contacted 2 property management firms. The first guy (who came recommended!) didn't even show up, but called the next day to say, "was I supposed to meet you at the property yesterday?" Jill Copeland of Thunderbird showed up early, coordinated all the repairs and clean up, was constantly in touch with us back in California for months (when she had yet to earn a penny in commission!), and rented it for more than we thought we'd get. We were and are blown away by her hustle. I couldn't be more impressed. Do yourself a favor and give her a try.

We got told to leave in the middle of the pandemic. HORRIBLE services. Maintenance was awful, and never fulfilled any of our requests. When we finally found somewhere to live, we left in the middle of the month we had already paid for. Never even got our prorated rent back for leaving two weeks before we were supposed to. I would definitely never recommend them to anyone.
