Thrive Counseling Services

I trusted Thrive Counceling Services to help my daughter cope with her issue. She was seeing Jennifer who is taking it upon herself to ruin the progress we have made and harass my wife, after we spoke with the director Demian Rubalcalba and asked that Jennifer not contact my daughter or my wife. After seeing how she claims to assist us when i went to the last session with my family we spoke with the director who agreed that Jennifer should not assist our family anymore. Now we find out that Jennifer continues to contact my daughter while she is at school.Completely unprofessional and i do not recommend Thrive to anyone that actually needs help, much less a family that is in desperate need. Please contact anyone else for help.

Thrive has been a great experience. I have only good things to say about everybody that I've encountered there. And I'm not sure about the previous reviews because the entire process was quick and easy. Their voicemail says to send them an email requesting services. I did, and somebody got back to me the very next day and let me know that my request was received and that I would be getting a call from the office manager within 3 businesses-days, but it didn't take that long because they got back to me to set me up about a day and a half after I first emailed them. The office manager was very nice and I was set up with a therapist pretty quickly. They have a beautiful location right in the middle of Albuquerque and they have free parking spots for their clients. I've been making it a habit lately to go to one of the great restaurants or coffee places that is near their office after I'm done with my session. It really has been great!

Years ago, I struggled with terrible anxiety, depression, and a disabling phobia. Demian helped me to process my struggles, and learn new skills to help me cope. I'm now on the right path, and am healthier than I've ever been!

This place cured my deep fear of being afraid. I couldnt stop worrying about a situation where I got so scared that I would be afraid of that fear. Not to get too personal, but personally I think Demian, Ken, and others really make this place special and totally worth spending time and energy. Go here. Get healthy!

DO NOT BRING YOUR AT RISK TEEN HERE!!! Jennifer will brainwash your children against you. She will twist your child's words and use them against parents. She will show up to your child's school without permission and when her service is terminated Jennifer will retaliate by continuing to make false claims and will actively try place a wedge between parents and children. If you sincerely value your child, please do not bring your child here Jennifer will only provide even further damage to your family.

Took them three weeks to respond to an initial email--only to tell me there is a two-week waiting list for an appointment. Good thing it wasn't a crisis situation!

I called Thrive Counseling to make an appointment and the recording said to send them an email and they will get back to me in 24 hours. Well I've sent 2 emails, one on Thursday and another on Friday requesting an appointment and nobody has gotten back to me. Reading the reviews I thought this problem was taken care of but I guess it hasn't been. I wonder how long it will take for a call back?
