Overall: The Witching Flour Bakery is hands down the best bakery in Albuquerque, especially if you are looking for something beyond basics. Bonus points for the sweetest owner/baker.Food: 5We got a multitude of items including Smoked Chocolate Danish, Chocolate Cinnamon Roll with Raspberry, Eggplant Black Garlic Miso Danish, and Black Sesame Cookies & Cream Donut.Every single item was delicious and clearly made with care. The best part is that the pastries kept well and still tasted great the next day. It didn't feel stale at all, even the danishes kept their crisp.Service: 5The owner and baker was super nice. She was very humble and seemed truly grateful for all her customers.Ambiance: 4The bakery has plenty of parking. We got there at opening time and there was already a long line. Luckily, the line is under a roof for rainy days. The inside of the bakery is cute and all her pastries are on display. I just wish there was a sitting area to enjoy your pastries right away!

We were all so excited to try these delicious pastries. I loved having to wait in line, it helped build my excitement. The two women inside, I assume the baker and the cashier were both very friendly and the interior of the shop was decorated well. Love the logo! The pastries were lacking something though. The pumpkin cinnamon roll was very good, not too sweet but maybe needs more butter? The flavors of the others were unique: quince, ginger, persimmon and also traditional flavors but they all lacked something. Salt? I don't know..a bit more sugar? The price points will prevent a return visit. I applaud the efforts though. Good ingredients etc! I wish them well!

Wow! This spot is amazing. I waited in line for ~25 minutes. If you come just be prepared to wait, it's worth it. Everything looked amazing. The Blood orange prickly pear curd, strawberry compote, torched meringue - danish was SO GOOD. This was my first time visiting, and I'll be back soon. I love how this is locally owned & seems to have such love and care in each pastry.

Not your run of the mill doughnuts. Sweet and savory offerings abound. There's a line out the door for a reason. The staff at the counter is welcoming and efficient. They did not rush us through the choices even though there was a line out the door. These folks craft custom creations that will surprise your tastebuds. Everything is hand made and delicious. Well worth the wait.

Amazing pasteries and donuts! I am so glad we have something like this in Abq. Everything we tried today was its own little adventure. The lemon curd was tart, the merengue creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness. The dough is a little more tangy almost like there is a sourdough mixed in or some technique that I am not sure of. (Update I read the website and it says "yeasted doughs". We really enjoyed our treats. If you are reading this you should definitely try it out. They are open Saturday and Sunday until 2pm and post their menu on their website.

This bakery is well worth making time to visit. She takes the time to create flavor pairings with the freshest of ingredients. What ever you decide on it will be delicious. Even the strawberry danish is the most perfectly executed strawberry danish that ever existed. It's like magic. Marry Poppins Perfection.

I've have now been here twice and let me just say I have not been disappointed. What I like right now is the owner is trying new items every weekend to get an idea of what is popular. So even if I recommend a favorite pastry or donut it might not be there next time. But I do recommend you try this place in general, so far her pastries are light, fluffy and buttery. You see the fresh fruits & nuts used, so nothing artificial. I don't believe anything is gluten free, but definitely not nut free. The second time a came around their was a pistachio croissant, in which the pistachio nuts were on top of the croissant, looked very tasty wish I would have picked it up. For now they are only opened on the weekends and no they don't sell loafs of bread, only sweet & savory pastries. They also do serve coffee and a small selection of tea. I noticed Earl Grey, and a Matcha tea. It is more of come in pick your goodies and drink location no seating is available. This is a fairly new establishment so don't be judging that you can't hangou

Very very good bakery. We got there at opening. There was a line. The line moved quickly. There were lots of goods to choose from. We picked 4 pastries - a brioche donut, vanilla thyme custard twist with blackberries, lemon blueberry meringue and banana boston cream cruffin. All were terrific. The pastries were not too sweet and some had some tartness. This place appears to be a family run business: mom, dad and baker. They were all working hard. This place is very deserving of support from the Albuquerque community.
