I've lived at The Towers for about three years now and it has gone downhill in a huge way. That beautiful park with a lovely fountain? The website picture is about 10 years old and the park hasn't been maintained and is just covered in dogshit now. The fountain was a highlight, but I guess, it, along with my soul, eventually just died. That gorgeous outdoor pool you see in the pictures? It has never been opened the entire time I've lived here. Now, it's jackhammered to hell and who knows if it's coming back. When Covid hit, they closed the indoor pool, the exercise room, the clubhouse, and billiard room and just never bothered to re-open them. )Technically the pool is open, but it's no longer heated and unless you're a polar bear, I wouldn't use it.)The mailbox in Tower A is unusable after somebody tried to break into it. It's been like that for about a year. And don't get me started about Tower B.That building is just terrifying. They charge $3 a month for non-existent pest control. I had bedbugs, which took over six months to eradicate, and a cockroach infestation. They've changed management teams at least three times and the owner spent $20,000 on useless bright LED lights on the porches instead of fixing the very, very old plumbing system. It's so bad that they have to shut off the water at least a couple of times a month because of minor or major leaks. They mass-towed cars that were parked in the employee parking area (all upfront while the handicap spots are in the second row) but just let derelict cars with boots and smashed windows languish in the parking lot for months. This building had such a potential and it's just been wasted.I know: Why haven't I moved yet? my work schedule wouldn't allow it, and I'm lazy, but my lease is up soon and then I'm gone.

This place is a dump, is doesn't matter if Greystar or Chamberlain and associates is managing it, as long as it's being ran by idiots that have only incentive to keep the place leased not livable, the towers apartment are going to remain substandard overpriced infested dwellings that hurt the people living in them and are a shining example of what Albuquerque is really all about. These older but well built buildings have so much potential and could be a shining example for the citys housing sector to be proud of but it's not the case. Greed and a fundamental lack what condominium/mid rise apartment life looks like, and should be managed for has instead been ruined by poor craftsmanship, lack of oversight and so many problems that a coat of paint will not fix or cover up. The situation is boiling up to be a disastrous waste of utilities, tenants mental health and likely lawsuits and more Managment turnover which will only add to the demise of 5400/5404 Montgomery Blvd NE. No one paying 1200$+ per month should have dirty hallways with multiple infestations and no one to turn to when something is broken or in need of replacement. Putting in a request for maintenance will most likely turn into another patch or substandard solution, if the request doesn't. Just get discarded and ignored all together. The lord and false advertising on the official web page is definitely not taking any laws or integrity for what is being offered to its prospective tenants, as nothing is open or has been for years and the hours stated are completely inaccurate with what is being implemented on the property. It's a nightmare and I with i could have avoided it but it's done and now moving forward I'm going to focus efforts to see that someone is held accountable and for Better or worse at least put the horrible Managment in the shoes of it's tenants. This is not a place to live when you think of that this property as part of the developed world or high standard of living, rather something you picture being in a developing nation on the brink. It's shameful and the owner, the management(whoever that me be at any given time) and honestly the city of Albuquerque should be ashamed. One star is also way to generous for this property, I'd give it a -6 star rating.

We have been here going on 9 months and plan on staying here for a very long time. The amenities are great and we feel safe and secure here. The view we have is great, the idea of having everything we need close at hand makes it better for us older folks. The ladies in the office are thhe best ever. The maintenance guys take good care of all the little things for us very timely. And housekeeping keeps oour public areas very presentable to the public. It is nice to feel proud wnhen we tell people where we livee and how much we enjoy it.

Juan the property manager, truly cares about the residents and the community. He is always friendly, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone has a great living experience. His dedication to improving the apartment complex has made a noticeable difference. Maintenance is always responsive and gets things done quickly.I highly recommend The Towers .It's a great place to call home!

My original review was 1* because of a bad move in experience. I am upgrading it to **** because my issues have been fixed. My renovated and spacious apartment looks beautiful now. Juan addressed all of my problems promptly and Umberto did a fantastic job fixing plumbing, replacing screens etc. and even helped me with my internet cable, which was spackled over in the wall. What a fantastic team including Andrea in the office and Edgar who are always polite and accommodating. The building is very quiet and kept clean by the housekeeper and monthly pest control. A lot of great amenities including laundry on each floor, valet garbage and a beautiful outdoor pool.

Roaches, auto theft, broken appliances, moving in to an apartment that was never cleaned, water always being turned off, vehicles being booted for no reason. This place is as Albuquerque as you can get. If you want the full experience of getting taken advantage of prepare to overpay for a run down building with some paint and duck tape slapped everywhere. Believe every negative review you see. Hold off a little longer and stay away, management has no regard for tenants and clearly just want to make money.

These guys just do not care at all about anything but taking your money. They will not fix problems in the apts or on the general property. This is not just me, but other tenants telling me the same. They say they will fix things but they never do. The bottom line is that their promises are worthless and they intentionally do business dishonestly.

2,000-2,400 (3 bedroom) and this is the environment you get. Olympus prices for meth motel quality. This establishment is shady old management use to steal money from new tenants coming in. My boyfriend moved in almost a year ago and they were starting "renovations". Fast forward a year later and everything looks even worse. Half ass paint jobs that have taken months to "finish". On almost any floor you can see paint stains on the carpet cause I guess it's so hard to paint just on the wall. Roaches everywhere, ran down "garden" area shit everywhere. Sometimes when you get home late at night there's cute little messages left on the elevator doors and sometimes you get lucky and there's blood on the elevator doors. Peoples cars get stolen, catalytic converters, and someone's life was even taken in the parking lot. But you know I guess it's still not enough to install cameras in the lots. Since the hallway carpet is so ran down you get different smells every time you walk in which is super cool. Amenities Never open or properly kept up with. Oh yeah it's also fun riding in the elevators because you never know if it's gonna stop or open or if you're gonna have a rocky little ride. I could go on and on about this place. I hope this place gets shut down. They'd be better off knocking down the whole building on god

Every since I moved in, it has been issue after issue. The previous maintenance managers promised to replace the damaged kitchen cabinets but they said no after all. The water is off at least 2 times a week but 2 days ago, the hot water went out in building B. The management said they are getting it fixed and avoided all contact. Finally today they put a letter on the doors saying that they boiler will not work for another 5-10 BUSINESS DAYS! That means we can be without hot water for 12 days. They said we can go use one of two showers in the gym but that is NOT SAFE since we are in the middle of a pandemic. Covid wave is hitting hard again and they expect us to walk to another building and share bathrooms with possible Covid infections. I will be calling the news.

These people are so incompetent that they would rather install an unnecessary outdoors light (for the balcony, and you CANNOT shut it off), than to address the Mouse, Cockroach, Waterbug, Begbug, etc.. problem first. They literally went to every apartment, one to the next, after WEEKS of postponing and misleading notices, to replace a light that most people dislike (as apparent by how many were normally off, or changed bulbs), before addressing the fact that cockroaches are crawling out of their literal appliances. Even then, they had to delay (for the 4th time, after MANY 'official' notices) that the company couldn't come, and THEN they had a 'list' to place yourself on, in order to receive service.I don't know about you, but I've never had to sign up for a service that should be provided by the proprietor of a property, to rid the place of bugs. Basically.. They want to save money, they'll money-grub every way they can, and I have absolute crazy stories as to how.Just one example. My house is 90 degrees right now, because the weather said it would reach 87. There is NO AC. They stopped AC in the beginning of OCT, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT, because it 'inconvenienced the vendor'. I've had mice literally walk out from under my cabinets (that have been on a repair bill since I moved in, because it's an 8in HOLE), and run around my apartment. There have been cockroaches that live under the carpets. This place is hell. Don't. Ever. Live. Here.
