The Stitcher's Garden

I stopped by Stitcher's Garden while I was in Albuquerque visiting my parents for Christmas, and I'm so glad I did! Laurie was so friendly and welcoming. She let me browse as much as I wanted, and was helpful without being pushy. I've only been stitching for about a year, so am still learning a lot, so I really appreciated that she was willing to show me some new techniques and tips. She even gave me a quick lesson in stitching on linen and evenweave, and some samples of fabric to practice on. Plus I really enjoyed the selection of patterns available, as well as fabric and thread. I'll definitely be going back every time I'm in Albuquerque.

I wish this was a chain and in Arizona! When I walked in I was helped right away and left with what I needed. I could have easily left with a new project or two. I highly recommend coming here for all your stitching needs. They probably have what you need and you should support this great specialty store!

I highly recommend this store! I stopped by when I was in ABQ visiting family, and the owner was delightful. She helped me plan out a new project, answered all my questions, and gave me several helpful tips. The store itself is lovely and there is a great selection of cross stitch supplies. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in town.

So disappointing to drive 45 minutes across town to find the store closed. store hours posted on internet are not the same as what is posted on the door.
