Hidden gem, great venue for bands. Bartenders are awesome. Parking is limited so I suggest grabbing a ride or carpooling.

Had no idea The Stage existed (I don't really go to the casinos here) and a friend took me to see Michelle Wolf for my birthday.LOVED IT!We had some general admission, sit-in-the-back seats, which honestly were more "VIP section" than "nosebleed". I can't believe the area in the back is the cheap seats; unless there's a magic show or something where you really want to be able to see from inches away, the back's the section to be!It was seat yourself a you arrive, which was nice and not stressful. There are lots of private, super comfy little couches, and your party chooses one. We chose the far left section (no desire to fight for center seating) and it was excellent for a comedy show. We had basically a private waitress the whole time who was very attentive. Maybe if the show was sold out service would have been a little slower, but as long as they staff the bar relative to ticket sales so the waitresses can keep 'em coming it would be ok.

A really great place for comedy! Between Thursday night comedy and the really big shows The Stage is by far the best! It's a very nice, intimate setting with good food and drinks. The shows are always priced well and being at the casino is nice because there are lots of places to eat and other things to do before and after the show.

I love, love, love the stage! I would say it is hands down one of the best venue's we have for night life in town. Also one of the best places for a great DJ set! I've seen Paul Oakenfold there along with the Crystal Method and just recently I attended NERO! All amazing shows! lt's such a great place to enjoy seeing some of your favorites! Every spot in the there is a good seat. They have a great space up on the stage for the artists so they can set up all their equipment and lights to make it their own. If you don't want to be down in the crowd they also have the sky bar/lounge up above so you can be out and away from all the dance junkies (me, me, me!). There is even a smoking section upstairs that is outside of the club. It over looks the casino floor and has tables to sit down and mingle with the other like kind (myself included). You'll find your self a full bar on both levels along with a bathroom on both levels as well. It's also located in a casino so at 2 am when they kick us out of the Stage, all you gamblers can find yourself a seat to throw down some cash! At the moment there is no hotel in Santa Ana Casino but I know that it is in the works. Often times the biggest complaint I here about the place is that is "so far" which I find to be a bit of a stretch. Buffalo Thunder, that place is far. You could easily stay at any of the hotels/motels in Bernalillo, and their shuttle will happily pick your ass up and take you back!Check out their events page from time to time! Maybe you will see someone you love coming to town! You'll have a great time! I promise! I always do!

Perfect sized venue for comedy and similar entertainment acts. Good staff with decent selection of food and full bar with a few local beer choices. Every seat has a good view of the stage and doesn't miss out on the act at all, but we prefer to get the rim seats as they seem like the perfect distance from the stage with a nice solid counter for food and drinks. The Stage does a good job of getting well known headliners in monthly and rotating smaller comedians through even more often. Definitely come check it out if you haven't yet. Check their schedule and find someone you recognize that you like unless you're happy with just enjoying a night out and not worrying about the comedian's sensibilities matching your own.

I've been here twice within the last year. The first was for the Thursday night comedy show, which I didn't even know they had and having lived in Albuquerque for so long. Some comedians were good and others a little lewd, but that's just comedy for you. The second time was Thunder Down Under. While I wasn't impressed with the show, the stage is a decent size and most everyone around me was friendly. I like that seating is general admission (like if you can't get there as early as you planned), but not every seat in the house is the best one as some are hidden behind poles that block the view of the stage. However, the menu was fairly extensive (not expensive). The lights were already dimmed about an hour before the comedy show started, making it a little hard to see the menu (probably a marketing strategy there). My date got the chicken quesadillas, which were good but also a little thin. We both got some kind of banana raspberry wonton dessert to finish off. The outside of the "boat" was a little too crunchy and a small size for the price to pay. Overall, I will probably be back because who knows when a nice mid-size event will be back in town and at the Stage

We come here from time to time because they are about the only game in town for comedy shows. The service is s-l-o-w. Fairly common for comedy clubs but still. If you want a cocktail, go to the bar and get it yourself. If you want food, beware that not all shows have tables. You might be served a paper float that will sit in your lap. The fried food here is pretty good. But if you want to eat somewhat healthy, do so before you get here. We ordered chicken wraps and it was literally the worst meal I've ever received. A few pieces of low quality chicken placed on a piece of wilted romaine with some kind of thick, disgusting sauce. I ate one of the three I was given then ate my husband's French fries. (Which were super tasty but I would have preferred not to eat fried food.). That's all I've got. Enjoy the show.

We occasionally go on Thursday nights for the stand-up comedy. The Stage is a nice looking setup for both comedy and nightclub. There's an upper balcony which I've never visited, and a the main floor which is split into three levels, stage, ring, and back lounge levels.Usually there are two or three touring comedians, as well as a local radio dj acting as MC. Decent quality level of comedy, with at least one of the comedians bound to be worth the night out.Wide age range for the audience, though must be 21 to enter. Usually $10 cover, except for special acts. Seemed to have expanded the good menu lately as well, reasonably priced. They even have a bean burger substitute; that and a soda cost $10. Not really a drinker, so not sure how well that service is, but by appearance people are enjoying both food and drinks. Great value for a night out.

We caught the comedy show on a Thursday night. The comedians were really funny and entertaining and put on a good show for $10. You are able to order food and drinks while watching the show. The food menu is pretty limited so we decided on the Barrel of Nachos with chicken for $20. The portion was really big and came in a big tin coffee can which was then dumped out onto a plate in front of us. The presentation was pretty cool. For the price, the nachos weren't worth it. All of the food on the menu was overpriced in my opinion. For drinks we started out with the mule. We were disappointed when it came in a glass instead of the copper mug! It is not a true mule if it does not come in the copper mug! The drink itself was tasty. Next, my friend ordered the Pink Drink which was pretty tasty. The venue is nice and I highly recommend catch the Thursday evening comedy show, but eat and drink someplace else beforehand if you want more options and more reasonable prices :)
