I have been going to the Skin Boutique for the past five months for facials and to purchase products. My skin has never looked so radiant and healthy. As I turned 35 years old, I decided that committing to a good skin care regimen sooner than later was going to do wonders for my skin in the future. I had heard about Environ products and was specifically looking for someone in Albuquerque to give me an Environ facial and to buy Environ products from. I am so thankful that I found Mashell at The Skin Boutique! She is an invaluable resource full of knowledge and experience. What she has done with my skin in five months is astonishing. My skin is only going to look better and better and I am excited now to see how beautifully I will age! If you are in need of an incredible facial, want to buy good high end products or want to start a serious skin care regimen, then this is your place. You will be floored at how good you will look!

I love The Skin Boutique and highly recommend it.I was a regular client receiving skin care and waxing treatments from the owner, Mashell, while she was in business in the Washington, DC area. She always provides excellent service, high quality products and knowledgeable skin care in a clean, comfortable, professional environment. Mashell has an extremely calm, soothing way about her which makes all treatments relaxing (even waxing!). I am thrilled that Mashell is offering her former Washington, DC and Maryland clients the chance to be under her care again through a home skincare system. I was very disappointed with the service I received at The Skin Boutique. I purchased a Groupon for a one hour facial with microdermabrasion. At my first appointment Mashell told me to put on a robe, lay on the table under the sheet and relax, then Mashell began to take off my make up and told me she couldn't do anything with me because I was too "broken out", I would have to reschedule. She said that with the intensity and detail of her facials she wanted me to return so she could really work on me right. She gave me a couple of samples and insisted that I purchase a multi-step acne skin care line from Murad and use it for a month and return. I went to Sephora and told the skin care specialist what I needed and she insisted that was much to harsh for my skin since I "didn't have any blemishes". That is what I thought?!?! But I purchased the regimen anyway and used it religiously twice a day. A couple of days before I was to return for my second appointment her assistant called to say she couldn't make it. So we rescheduled...again. When I finally was able to get to my facial, after almost two months, she told me to just keep my shirt on (instead of putting in the robe like I did the first time), and lay on top of the sheet...things were already different. Then began the facial, it felt nice and the products smelled good. I was happy and just starting to relax. And then--it was over. It seemed to go VERY quickly but I just thought the time flew by. Then I got in my car and saw that I had been inside a total of 20 minutes!!! And that was including filling out paperwork after and waiting for her to get the room ready before!!! So I actully got about 15 on my skin. I immediately called her while I was still in the parking lot and asked her if the Groupon that I had purchased was for a full hour. She said yes, but that she would not have done anything differently in an hour, that my skin was not problematic so she was able to do everything in that amount of time. She said that only someone with really bad skin would need a full hour. What??? I paid for a full hour! So I went from skin so bad she couldn't even work on me to skin so good that I didn't warrant the full package I'd pay for, in fact only 1/4 of what I'd pay for??? I hope she treats her regular customers better, but for someone who purchased an online deal, is willing to spend a lot on their skin, and had the potential to be a loyal repeat customer the experience was really bad. Terrible customer service. I spent more on gas making two trips there from Nob Hill along with the skin care line she felt was a must for me. Even though my facial was purchased at a discounted rate, I did not get my money's worth. Beware before you purchase deals for The Skin Boutique ---I would not return. Go to NuAura, they have great esthiticians and give great facials and micro-derm. And you get what you pay for.

I cannot wait to return for my next appointment with Mashell. In one visit my skin looked more youthful! I have had many facials before but have never had immediate results. There is hope for my sun damaged skin after all! I am looking foward to implementing Environ products into my home regimen.
