Want to find something off the wall? You might want to check this place out. There is a very eclectic mix of things. If I had to classify this I don't think I could. But it's definitely different. They even carry pins from Disney parks. Take a look you may find something you never knew you wanted.

I don't write many Yelp reviews for stores, but I found the Shop of Infinite Curiosities to be exceptional. The artist who buys and creates for this store is Candice Carnes-- I had the pleasure of meeting her mom while I browsed. Anytime I see the words 'infinite' and 'curiosities' in the same sentence I am excited, and this shop did not disappoint.Candice has a good eye and is a talented buyer for this store-- there are quite a few novelty pocket watches. I bought a Harry Potter snitch locket watch that I just really adore. The shopkeeper found a ribbon for me to put it on since I am allergic to most metals. I also found a cool silk fish windsock. Many of the items here are made by Carnes and include funky jewelry and Christmas ornaments made from old motherboards. Jewelry made from old buttons and charms. Necklaces of frozen Charlottes-- vintage porcelain baby dolls dug up from the toy factory years later. Her designs feature creepy and wonderful baby doll eyes that open and close. The Shop of Infinite Curiosities in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is a great place to go gift shopping or to find a fun and unique giftie for yourself. Thank you for your cool weirdness and for welcoming me into your shop.

Originally I was happy w my tarot card purchases. So happy I took my cards to meet a famous tarot artist and wanted him to sign the box of the cards. The ones from your store are counterfeits/fakes/knockoffs. He showed me the difference between your stores version of his cards & his cards. Fake decks are almost always smaller than a standard deck--and your cardstock is thin and print quality is poor. I have purchased several decks (8 tarot decks@$20 each, oracle cards were more) from your shop & some of the images on the cards appear copied, cropped, stretched, or colored differently than the original artist intended. One deck was w missing a particular card but contained 2 of the same one. These decks don't include an instruction booklets either, which they should- as artists WANT *their specific interpretations* of the cards to be read. You claim you can send a copy of the booklet meanings, but the artists want the buyers to have the original booklets. You are cheating tarot/oracle artists out of money by selling knockoff tarot cards.Another dead giveaway? A QR code (that links back to the seller for quick purchasing). There is not a legit deck with a QR code on the box.ALL OF YOUR CARDS have a QR code only. See-authentic decks have detailed packaging that reflects what's inside. The box will usually contain an ISBN number, country or region of manufacture, publisher's name (popular publishers are US Games, Llewellyn and Lo Scarabeo), the artist's name, and any appropriate seals or trademarks.Buying authentic Tarot decks supports writers, artists, retailers, publishers and teachers within the broader metaphysical community. Buying knockoffs supports you- but you're cheating the artists out of their $ and you're cheating customers out of their money also when we think they are buying authentic decks from you, when we aren't. Bad form.
