wow great food and amazing service prices are totally reasonable.i love this place.

First time here. Great chicken pot pie and amazing blackened salmon which was cooked to perfection. Also had the prickly pear margaritas which were very delicious. The bar tender was friendly and attentive. Would happily return.

So we were back in the Albuquirky area about a month after the first visit when we discovered The Range Cafe, and this time we went to a third location, off 12th street near downtown. Finally I tried their carrot cake and, as much as I love my late mother's and always will, this might have actually topped it! It was just the right flavor, consistency, cream-cheese frosting, etc., and it also appeared that they had soaked the cake layers in some kind of flavoring that made it extra good. If we lived in the area we would be eating there at least once a week!

Overall good experience. The service was top notch and the desserts we ordered were spectacular. The only reason for not putting a five star; they charged an addl four bucks to make my pie a la mode. Seems excessive

I wish I could review the food but unfortunately we didn't get that far. We stopped in on a Monday morning a little after 11am. Place wasn't busy, but was clean and they greeted us and sat us quickly, which I thought was a good indication that we would have a good experience. Server came over asked us for our drink order almost immediately and if we wanted to order chips and salsa, another plus. It was our Very first time here ever and we wanted to look at the menu so told him maybe. He brought our drink order out quickly, said he'd be right back and maybe 10-15 minutes later we walked out because he never came back. He even took the drink order of another table who came in after we already had our drinks, brought their drinks out and then took their food order and didn't even glance at our table. I hate to be that person but you know that once they start to ignore you, your experience is going to suck, so we just left and went down to Dion's.

What a nice, well maintained restaurant. It has the usual cutesy cows and a range decorations for this chain of restaurants. The food and service was good. I ordered the taco salad with the shredded beef and green rice then, in lieu of the black beans. Both were missing from my dish. They had to go back to the kitchen to get sides of each! Ugh! Took a minute to flag dow our waiter to get the missing items.The cabacitas tacos were good, but nothing to write home about. Just missing a little something to jazz them up. We have been to several locations of this chain, and decorwise it was clean and cute, but the failure to get the orders right took away some points.

Tasty breakfast goodies at reasonable prices. Waitress had a couple misses, but was a bright & chipper addition to the morning. Typical Range friendliness reigned as S.O.P.Coffee was punchy on flavor, piping hot, & strong enough on the caffeine front to do the job. Refill top-ups were conscientiously delivered.My warmed up pecan gooey roll with its bazillion calories on a plate was mondo on size, sweet as you'd ever want, and decidedly something you will *not* mention to your nutritionist at your next office visit. It had lots & lots of chopped nuts on it, so that was good.Partner ordered two eggs over easy with green chile on the side and a single slice of toast. Eggs were as ordered. Green chile had plenty of spicy bite, but was thin & watery in texture. Toast arrived as a pair, not the single slice ordered.As at other Range locations, there was plenty of artwork on the walls, to include a full wall mural behind the counter. Cow motifs abound, as usual. Definitely a solid recommend for chowing down when in Los Lunas.

The range café is definitely one of my favorite places for breakfast. The food is always fresh and it's consistent. Right now with the whole Covid thing they do offer curbside pick up and I believe dining is open but it is limited. The service is always great. And I must mention they have some of the yummiest desserts.

What Great food! Had a party of twelve and they couldn't have been more hospitable and on track with god and drink! Clean, warm and excellent are the best way descriptors to identify this place! The food looked and tasted amazing! Did I mention they have a full bar? It was too early for us but good to have in the back of the mind! Check it out and you won't walk away hungry or underwhelmed.

Used to love this place. Even sympathized as they had to corporatize their menu and make cuts and efficiencies. I miss the onion rings.Today around 10:30 we had breakfast. Chatted with the waiter as we decided on breakfast entrees. Saw a sign on table advertising 10% off entree when you order dessert first. Decided on special danish and cheese danish.Around time to pay we get bad news that our desserts don't qualify. Ask for manager, in mean time read the fine print that excludes the pastries, milkshakes and something else. Manager basically just reiterates fine print. No offer to compromise just black and white fine print.The irritating thing is we talked to the waiter about the deal and ordered what we and he thought were desserts. He later claimed to know policy but forgot and apologized for not mentioning it.So Range Cafe is basically showing their corporate soul. Not the brand I want to support. I'll stay with true locals.It's too bad cause they serve the best meatloaf with mushroom gravy and best green Chile stew.They lost a loyal customer today.
