The Range Café

I liked my food and so did my partner but nothing was amazing. Everything was a ok to meh. The staff was great and I thought were very friendly and nice. I found my sandwich a bit dry and I think had bits of egg shell or something crunchy a couple times on the French toast breading. The fruit cup had tiny pieces of pineapple I would have composted. My partner had the biscuits and gravy and they were also ok. The eggs were a touch undercooked for him with not all the white solid. Again the staff were fantastic, food was ok and for the price underwhelming. I would go back if it was the most convenient location.

Food - 3/5 Hamburger and side salad for $15 tasted ok, but left hungry.Ambiance - 4/5 Upscale interior, decorated with lots of kitsch. Cute and homey but nice and modern at the same time. Service - 2/5 Server was very softspoken and hard to hear. Silverware was spread haphazardly across the table. Never received a water.

Frequent diner here, we are there a few times a month at least. We have grown to love the staff, they take care of us every time! Ask for Deja or Mimi, they have our drinks for us before we even order, now that's service! Some highlights on the menu would be the blue corn pancake with pine nuts, the range roundup, the green chile Mac n cheese, or the breakfast burrito. There have been times where we have had to wait a little longer but they are usually very busy! Love this location with all my ! SUPPORT LOCAL!

My family and I just ate here. They were extremely slow despite not having anyone in the dining area. Multiple times, when we asked for something, we did not receive it because our waiter, Ambro, completely forgot. If we weren't good people, hands-down, we would have and could have walked out of this establishment without paying. As a paying customer, I had to get up from the table to ask for drink orders and to go boxes. My family and I WILL NEVER eat here again.

I like the decorations that are inside. Does coming out of the walls. Staff when you first sit take care of you but then one of forgot your there. Not good. Maybe it is just me .Ordered soup of the day, hope it is good Not a lot of customers here, I'm use to the original location. Plenty of parking here and this right off the highway.Staff is slow at seating customers. They made an old couple wait about 15 minutes and there are plenty of open tables. There is a bar area which could be good.I ordered soup of the day; chicken noodle, but came with no noodle. What? The guy went back to get me noodles. No sweet ice tea, just unsweetened.Fries are great and the ranch dressing. Wow. Wonder if they make the ranch? Chicken soup was bland, no real taste.I think my waiter did the best he could but the soup and the fact no sweet ice tea was a bummer.

Oh boo. I generally love this Range and the Range cafes in general. But I need to state some facts about today's visit. The Range is running a "order dessert first, get 10% off your entree" special. I ordered the affogato. And then ordered my meal. The waitress came back to the table to say "the affogato is not considered a dessert. Boo! Deceptive! It wasn't even listed in the exceptions.I love their green chile chicken soup. We go there just about once a week to get this meal and we love the turkey dinner. Those are our favorites, but there are many more that we love. Food is consistent in quality, service is typically very good. I'll be back, but come on. Don't run your specials like that.

Our favorite local diner. They do simple New Mexican food well. I love the spinach and cream enchiladas, which are both indulgent and homey. The carne adovada and green chile are flavorful but not spicy, so that may be a plus or a minus. The house-baked desserts are legit. I would have liked the Death by Lemon pie and key lime pie to be even more tart, but mad respect for the custard texture on the first and the crumb crust on the second. Come hungry; the portions on everything are huge.Diner atmosphere and cheerful, down-to-earth staff.

Who orders their oatmeal with ICE CREAM? It is an option on their brunch menu! The Range also encourages customers to order and eat dessert before their normal meal.

Went to the Range on Rio Grande today for the Taco Tuesdays. Disappointed all the way around.1. Service: Was seated at the booths opposite the bar. The lady who was our server was also tending bar. She spent more time taking care of the bar customers than she did the table customers, even though it appeared there was another gentleman working the bar also.2. Food: Took my wife because she really likes shredded beef tacos. Instead of shredded beef tacos we were served "Chunks of Beef Tacos. I don't know if this was laziness on the cooks part ofr what but they were definitely not shredded beef.Very disappointed!!Sorry YELP won't upload photos.

Waitress was so rude. I ordered Oatmeal and a vanilla latte. The vanilla latte was terrible watered down. When I reviewed the, bill I questioned an added item to my bill The waitress got upset and grabbed the bill out of my hand I'm not confrontation so I didn't respond to her behavior.We will never go back to The Range
