I am beyond in Love with The Hype Hair Studio! Everyone there is a blast and full of fun energy. The owner has done my hair for some time and I am so happy every time! The care and attention to detail is incredible! When you call and talk to Becka she will make sure you're taken care of and she is always very thorough when setting appointments! Kris the owner is a great business owner and I'm so pumped for the new remodel! I am in love with this establishment and all there! Truly you feel at home with confident stylist they will surly make you leave feeling incredible!

I've recently relocated to N.M. I was in need of a great stylist and salon. I normally ask for the more experienced stylist. When I called they suggested the owner ( Kris) Upon my arrival she appeared very friendly and eager to help. I explained what I was wanting. After what felt like a long winded consultation she said that could not be done because my hair was fried( I was aware of the damage) long story short. She colored the top of my hair and stained the bottom ( that washed out in 3 shampoo') I just left a FABULOUS salon that gave me everything I was asking for. Do research before booking an appointment with this salon. Owner is a bit loud and pushy.

On a whim I decided I needed a change and they took me as a walkin. The owner was so friendly and enthusiastic I had to wait 30 minutes to be seen, but was so worth the wait. I had long hair and wanted a short haircut and Danielle took me in her care and did an excellent job. My color is amazing, matching my skin tone and looks so natural. I'm in love with the new me!!! Thanks to team Hype!!!

very long hair, looking for a change that lightened up and polished while still being "long". Dellyna did a wonderful job, and i'm so pleased the result. the studio is clean and bright, and i love the business model that fully compensates the stylist. i don't have to hassle with tipping or being pressed to purchase products.

Hands down the best treatment I have ever had AND the best hair cut ever! Kayla and Kris worked together to make my hair healthy again... Not to mention it looks fabulous!

These people are way too expensive. One gal charges $200 for a haircut. That is crazy. Also, they never call you back timely so you can get a haircut. As a business, they should have someone manning the phones all the time. It takes them days to call you back. Don't waste your time with these clowns. My time is important, I don't have the luxury to wait days for a return call to get a hair cut. If I could leave zero stars I would.

Great salon with an awesome atmosphere. I have had my hair done here twice, once by Danielle who did a great job & then by McKinsey who also did a great job. Under the tutelage of the salon's owner Chris, who is a hair Yoda, these young ladies take great care & pride in their work. From the consultation, where they carefully ask & guide you through what you want done to the actual color & cut I felt completely at ease and confident that they really cared about how I felt and that I was happy with what was going on. I definitely left both times happy with my new do. I highly recommend this lovely small business here in Rio Rancho.
