They sure do talk a lot about the warranty when they're trying to sell you a treadmill. But, a year in when the belt is off the track and you call for service, its suddenly $200 for the house call. They do a great job up front roping you in, then leave you high and dry when your equipment fails. Save your money and go anywhere else.

Bought a treadmill after the 2nd lockdown went into place and my kids school went back to remote. I had tried to order a treadmill from proform but they are a hot mess right now so cancelled that order and called the fitness superstore in Albuquerque. I spoke with Joann initially and told her what I needed and price range and she gave some suggestions that she thought would work and that were in stock. She was friendly and knowledgeable from what I could tell. I researched what she suggested and decided on the horizon 7.8. I was able to apply for interest free financing for 12 months via their site. I called back and spoke with TJ who took my order and who was just as helpful. They have different delivery/setup options but we opted to pickup and set up ourselves as we live 1 1/2 hours west in Gallup. However, if you have no experience setting it up I definitely recommend having them setup and/or deliver for the extra fee. After we got it home and setup we made a small mistake when we loosened the belt to lubricate the machine and couldn't center the belt. I called and spoke with Larry who gave me some tips and was super patient and helpful. Unfortunately due to my lack of experience I couldn't get it so they set up a service and came out pretty quickly at a decent price and Larry let me pick his brain the whole time he was fixing it, which took him like ten minutes. During this whole COVID-19 experience and what these "non-essential businesses" have had to deal with in order to stay open I truly appreciate that this company and their staff were amazing from start to finish and didn't use COVID-19 as an excuse for poor service, which i am finding a lot of businesses are doing during this time. I appreciate everything the staff at this store did for us. I won't be going anywhere else for my fitness needs ever again. Another perk, they are local and not a chain fitness store.

Great selection of fitness machines, both new and some used. Sales Rep Ed was very friendly and helpful. We tried them all and bought a nice used elliptical, with home delivery included. No pressure--just answers to our questions and good advice. We appreciated the experience very much!

Our sales person, Rob, was very informative - we appreciated the time he took to explain the features & differences of the treadmills offered. We are really enjoying our new Matrix T-30 Treadmill!Seth & Matt did an outstanding delivery job. They were professional, personable & polite, and had great "can do" attitudes. They had to disassemble the unit and reassemble it once it was in our home. They were careful with our new Treadmill and our home (doors, door jambs, flooring, furniture).It was a great purchase experience! We highly recommend The Fitness Superstore.

I bought a top-of-the-line elliptical trainer from the Fitness Superstore in the amount of $2396. The machine delivered a few days latter was dirty and used. The dealer, Mike, claimed it had "just come out of the box." The handle bars were sticky and the peddles had grim on them. The roller used to transport the machine had extensive wear. It took a month and half to get the elliptical returned. Then I was assured my refund would be forthcoming. I had to call repeatedly and spoke to three different employees about the refund, Mike, Robert and Abby. Finally after 5 week, I received a credit to my account. Fitness Superstore refunded $2,115. The store deducted $281 for the return. The ordeal ran from October 30, 2018 to January 23, 2018 to resolve the issue. I would avoid Fitness Superstore at all cost unless, of course, you have $281 to throw away.

Yesterday the store picked up my Landice treadmill to bring it our new home. The owners manual for this treadmill indicates it should NOT be lubricated unless it is in a commercial establishment. I saw the older employee open a tune and put something under the belt. Once they started it it sounded terrible. I had never heard any of these strange noises before. They had tested it in my home so they knew it was working condition. The two men spent approximately 2 hours working on it. Unfortunately the noise persisted. They then presented me with a bill for over $400.when I explained I gave them a working treadmill and they returned me a treadmill I would not get on.I was told to call Jessie at the store. I did and he said that if I did not pay the bill they would not send a technician to make repairs. Yelling he told me that we had not taken care of the treadmill by not lubricating it. When I explained the owners manual says not to lubricate, he continued to tell me if I didn't pay no repair person would be sent. Tired of his nasty way of speaking to me, I asked for a manager. Mike would not listen and hung up on me.The younger employee said he thought the problem " was the belt because it had not made a noise until we lubricated it." Yes, I agreed.Called husband and he copied the portion of the manual that warns not to lubricate the treadmill. Robert,store mgr says they need to send a repair person after he asked a few questions. I again figured they would repair it ( lifetime warranty) and then we would pay bill for their "service" which was against the manufacturers guidelines. Mike again refused to send tech unless "service was paid for first.
