We came for the All American, which was moved here from Ruidoso due to the flooding and fires they've had there this year. This track was nice! We sat on the 3rd floor in the jockey club. I liked the open air.The food was really good and the servers were all really njce and professional. We did wait 2 hours for our order BUT I'll have grace bc they certainly had never had an event this large.

Last night we had a birthday event for a friend of ours and it was my first time there and my last. Service was terrible, we were told we had to have a seat at the bar so we did, never served. We left. The amount of time it took for a bartender to come to us was impossible. They do not have enough staff and I don't fault them for that but come on. We were barely acknowledged. The Brandon Saiz band was playing so I'm sure there was a bigger crowd than usual I'm not sure but to not even be acknowledged is ridiculous. Everyone looked upset as there were several patrons waiting and the line was not moving and people in seats somehow still did not have drinks. We spoke with a girl sitting next to us and I asked her if it was always like that and she said no, it used to be better but has since gone downhill. The actual casino part was clean and well lit, I was surprised it didn't feel like we were in the war zone at all.

This place is trash. Very poor service. Particularly rude if you don't speak Spanish. Feels hostile was hoping for better.

We were invited by Family and given the fact that the NM State Fair was cancelled for this year, it was nice to get out on a Sunday to watch the ponies. Reservations were made in advance and socially distance was preset for each party. We sat in the jockey club and our waitor immediately took our drink orders as we began reviewing the racing form. Service was great and the mimosa's weren't that bad either. The atmosphere was light and people respected the mandatory masks as you placed your bet. The view was perfect as we watched each race. We later ordered nachos and they had all the right ingredients: ground beef, beans, guacamole, sour cream and plenty melted cheese. Portions were plenty for four people. It was a nice afternoon in spite of it all.

This place attracts too sketchy a crowd. Neighborhood is scary with homeless and severely mentally ill everywhere. Parking lot is dirty and barely monitored. Addicts are doing drugs on the property. A security guard drives around but it is just for show. He won't bother with anybody or anything. Parked nearby us was a trash pile of a camper with every window broken. It obviously had been there for a while. I took a photo of the syringe I stepped on but was in such a hurry to leave I didn't get the camper. We picked up and left pretty quick. Gambling here is a risk I'm not willing to take.

After an opening day at the downs the snack bar was a perfect late night snack option. Drink lines were pretty long at the track. I learned minimum bets are $2 so you can have fun without spending too much.

I was disappointed to find out they don't have live blackjack or even a blackjack machine, just a large simulated screen for up to 4 people. And they don't even play fair: the dealer in their simulated blackjack game was an attractive woman with big titties and a bright red dress designed to distract you (see photo). Ultimately I ended up losing all my money, I don't recommend. 1 out of 5 stars

We were exploring Albuquerque and happened upon this casino by accident. We went inside to see what they had to offer. They had many newer video gaming machines which are nice, but bad at the same time. You have a higher minimum bet required and end up losing your money quicker. There is beverage service on the floor for water, coffee and soda pop. There was a security guard posted at the entrance to the gaming area to keep underaged patrons away from the gambling area. The building seemed newer and the restrooms at the entrance were nice. The rear restrooms were a bit older finish and not as nice as the front ones. They had a separate food court area with a bar area for alcohol. When we were there, this area was not open yet, so we didn't eat anything. We played for a few minutes but didn't have a lot of time to stick around.

2021 Kentucky Derby Annual Event was a Disaster at the Down's!Trying to be kind here, but the truth hurts, because this place (Down's) sucks in many ways.As a TwinSpires app user, a handicapper horse racing friend convince me to join him, really thought we going to the First Turn within the Casino, one of my favorite venues in this area, it was closed! So we went to the Down's track, and everything seem organized, should you have made earlier reservations for the lounge areas, but the general public area was confusing and very disappointing small monitors, not enough sitting chairs or service, without any emphasis on the Kentucky Derby as far as ad'l large screens for this one time annual of event. We were willing to pay for the VIP Club House sitting $15 per person minimum of 4 which was fine, but once we were take to our table, no arrangements were made for additional screens or any screens near our sitting area, just a view of the track for that fee! This place was a Disaster and a big-time failure for this event.Pro:Staff Food & Servers did there best,Con:No WiFi excess!Lack of any big screen indoorNot enough tables or chairs for the capacity allowedParking

I walked to to the cashiers' cage and she took my drivers' license, and then looked at a button on my mask that said "I'm vaccinated". She rudely looked at me and said "You know vaccinations don't work." I told her, "You obviously don't know the statistics." I asked for my license back and went to the other cashier and I asked what the other cashier's name was, and the 2nd cashier said, "Patricia, Why do you want to know?". I asked her for my license back and left to find a manager. In the FIRST place the job of the first cashier, Patricia, is NOT to initiate and engage in conversation regarding politics or other. Her JOB is to cash my check. Her JOB is not to spread misinformation to guests. She was unprofessional and results in me never going back. There are 4 other casinos I can spend my money at. The 2nd cashier's job is to cash checks. If she didn't want to give me the other cashier's name, she could have said, I am not able to provide you with that information but you can see the management... not ask my "why" as if she was a manager. This place is not a very comfortable place to visit in the first place, and I usually go there if I happen to be in the area, which is not often. It's not in a very safe place in town.
