The Crane Cafe

Just a little hole in the wall restaurant in the back of a gas station that makes huge portions of some pretty good food! Prices are fair and the service is usually great as it was today. They normally have a giant CFS but they didn't have them today so they were serving two of the normal sized servings which was still a lot of food! The roadrunner special is always huge as well. Two thumbs up from me!

Stopped by on our way to Almogardo for quick Breakfast.. suprized to find a Full service Restaurant. Great food ..We both had the special "1/2 order of bisquits and sausage gravy" neither of us could finish it. Wow .. and the tenderest bisquits anywhere. Great coffee too. And Excellant service !!

This used to be a great place to eat but today they had imbeciles working who COULD NOT get the order right. I called ahead to place an order for pick up. They said it would be 10 minutes. They lost the order. It took them 45 minutes to prepare the order. And despite being told" philly cheese steak" 4 times...they served up a chicken fried steak. All the orders went straight from the grill into Styrofoam containers that promptly melted. It was a mess! The young woman who took the order was inconsiderate. It seems no one cared at all. There were several others waiting on orders and it was not busy at all. So sad to see a good place to eat going downhill because of uncaring staff.
