Used to be good.... not anymore.Beans had no flavor, no salt, nothing. The salsa was straight from the can pureed tomatoes (dominating flavor of sweet cheap tomatoes) with a couple jalapeños blended in, no added garlic, salt, nor any spice. The green chile was very mild and probably the least impressive we have tasted in all of New Mexico (we are from here and eat out A LOT!). The red chile is decent. Too many great restaurants in Santa Fe at this price point to eat here.

Listen to the owner of this place if u have a sick team member send them home. The guy in the front running the show is super sick. I hope the G he doesn't get anyone sick. We'll update if I do! He is sneezing and coughing with a hot tea in his hand. Come on send him homeFood came out within seconds. Very good and chicken was tender but just a note this a Mexican restaurant not a true "New Mexican" style food place. Cheap and good. Giving a 3 due to the host/bartender/cashier being sick. The rest it was fine

The service was great. The seating was ample. In all fairness, I have to say I was expecting American TexMex. Like Chipotle style. Since eating here in Santa Fe it is definitely not that.I had a chicken burrito and chips and salsa. Although there was a lot of shredded chicken in my burrito. I was hoping more for extra things like rice and beans and pico de gallo. I noticed the refried beans in there, but not enough to make a difference in the flavor. The chicken was very tender, and there was a lot of it , but to me, there was no flavor.I was hoping that the chips would've been homemade, but I don't think they were. The salsa was good and the Christmas chile was good too.

Santa Fe is expensive. It's Mexican Sedona. So, you gotta give it up to the people not trying to rip off tourists. This casual and festive place had a unique menu with classics, self-serve refills, delicious food, and friendly service. My chicken burrito was full of wet, tender, shredded chicken (contradicting fellow elite Shannon W's June review). It wasn't huge, yet I saved half of it for breakfast, maybe because we had the chips and trio to start (the queso was fine, the fresh guacamole needed a squirt of lemon and some salt). The wife thought the taco salad was a little sad- it may have been more hearty with a refried beans option.

Santa Fe NM is expensive and looking at this menu and prices I had hope. But no, it's like everything in Santa Fe. You walk in order at the counter, pay and tip and then someone brings you your food. We got our drinks while we were paying. $9.00 margarita was mostly sugar not much tequila. Good thing my husband got a bottled beer. Husband had the beef Street tacos which lacked in beef and flavor. We then split the cheese enchiladas that came with rice and beans. The food was bland and did not have much flavor. The person working the counter that took our order was snarly and questioned everything we ordered. Not a welcoming person. Oh, well I will not be going back here.

This place is ok, but I expected more. Overall, my burrito wasn't anything special, I've had many that were better. I like that you order at the counter, it makes things much speedier. Also, the location right off the main plaza is premium.

Got a grilled chicken handheld burrito and wasn't very impressed. The burrito was mostly refried beans. The chicken was dry and pretty much like a deli meat from the grocery store. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, but for the namesake of the restaurant, we thought the burrito would've been better. They don't start telling me burritos until after 11 AM.

If you're enjoying the shopping on the Plaza, stop here to refuel! Easy menu, delicious options, lovely staff and atmosphere. We had a perfect day to dine outside and people watch. Our mid-morning breakfast was yummy, with just enough heat to let you know you're dining in New Mexico.
